Neevana Hotel Hikkaduwa

Das kleine sehr nette Hotel hat eine wirklich super Lage direkt am Meer und zusätzlich noch einen Pool direkt am Meer. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr freundlich und das Essen ist sehr gut. Zu Fuß erreicht man alles was man braucht, Lokale und Geschäfte. Wir können das Neevana unbedingt empfehlen.

Beach front Hotel in the heart of Hikkaduwa Tourist District.

Great stay! Very reasonable price so I cannot complain. King bed room on 2nd floor. Right on the beach and property has a pool (I did not use). Wifi is not strong. On the last night, the AC in my room kept saying “EC” and not working. I would’ve told staff if I had noticed it before late in the evening on my last night. Also, did not appear to be hot water in my room, but it’s a very hot climate so the cool water was nice. Did not eat at the restaurant as other options nearby were less costly.

The staff were amazing the general manager helped organise our 5 day trip with driver and interpreter, who could not do enough for our group of 6. The rooms were comfortable and cleaned daily. Shout out to Prem, Nesha and our driver who delivered everything we wanted in a holiday, thank you for all your help in making our holiday Fab.

We had a wonderful stay here. The girl in traditional clothes in the reception was so friendly. Breakfast was a bit of a dissapointment, so I would recommend to eat it at any of the close by coffe shops that had amazing breakfast and also for a better price.

Receptionen lukkede kl 17. Vi ringede og gav besked om at vi ville komme ind med toget kl 16:35. Intet problem, I kommer bare. Da vi ankom kl 16:55 bad de os vente på de fik klargjort værelset, eller nærmere akvariet. Der var en mega smal gang mellem alle værelserne men ingen vinduer ud til atmosfæren. Så bo bag nedrullede gardiner eller bliv udstillet. Der var ingen morgenmad og de billeder som er afbildet er bestemt ikke fra hotellets restaurant. Billeder af værelserne var taget før møblerne blev sat ind. Man skal ikke have et BMI højere end anoreksi så held og Lykke.
Der var ikke meget toiletpapir og aircondition var noget så utæt
Stedet er bestemt ikke pengene værd og heller ikke selv om den blev sat ned med 75 %.

This was a very disappointing hotel. It was in a great location right on the beach but there was so much that let it down. Everywhere looked very tired and in need of renovation. Bed was uncomfortable and linens were marked. Towels were dirty looking anything rather than white! We had to wait after the check in time for our room to be ready. There were very few loungers on the beach and usually these were ‘reserved’ by people very early although they were rarely used! The evening meal was good but breakfast was a big let down. There were signs about the all day vegan breakfast but when we asked at 9.30 we were ushered upstairs to a ‘breakfast room’ where we had to pay far too much for little of what we could eat! We did complain but …

The room was like a bunker. The only available windows was toward a vommon lobby area. The internet worked 70%. The number of sun chairs was not so many considering the number of guests.
The staff was great!

Had a really nice stay here, key positives were really lovely staff, great proximity to the beach and clean rooms. We didn't eat here so can't comment on food. My only small gripe was that the internet was quite poor. This made it really difficult for me to work from here. I ended up using my mobile hotspot as the wifi was too inconsistent.

Vi hadde to flotte overnattinger på Neevana Hotel. Det var plassert rett på stranden med Hikkaduwas yrende hovedgate på fremsiden. Kort spasertur til sentrum, men masse transportmuligheter tilgjengelig om man ikke ønsker å gå. Betjeningen gjorde sitt beste for at vi skulle få et hyggelig opphold, med en spesiell takk til Anton og Nishula som virkelig stilte opp enten vi ba om det eller ikke. Rommet var eksotisk med en egen liten regnskog på badet.

First room we stayed at was on the ground floor next to the restaurant. The room was noisy and not in good condition. After staying up the first night because of the noise, we got to stay another room that was a bit better and quieter with a nice view, but ac was leaking water to our floor quite a bit. Airport pick-up was late and we got blamed for 'not being at the right place', even though there was only one place where we could be: the arrivals hall. Overall ok service.

The hotel and security staff are quite obliging and helpful. High quality service from all waiting staff and front office staff.

Neevana is a modern, very comfortable hotel close to the centre of Hikkaduwa. The rooms are well appointed and those at the front have the most amazing view of the sea. The hotel restaurant serves tasty, carefully prepared food. We found the "Big Breakfast" to be particularly enjoyable, and our waiter, Anton, was always on hand to attend to our every need. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Lovely, new property. Our ocean view room was excellent. Great beds and air conditioning. Staff were super attentive, friendly and helpful. Pool and beach area was great.

Meine Familie und ich hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Neevana Hotel. Es ist renoviert und die Zimmer sind sauber. Die Anlage hat viele kleine nette Details und liegt direkt am Strand. Der Pool ist gut und das Essen im Restaurant schmeckt gut.
