The service and food were absolutely wonderful! The staff were incredibly friendly, from the front desk to everyone else. Even though the venue is close to a busy road, the atmosphere was calm and relaxing.
The restaurant was spotless, and the staff cleared tables and plates very quickly after each meal, which was impressive. During my two-day visit for the event, Mr. Supun was especially attentive and handled every request promptly, ensuring everything ran smoothly.The only issue we experienced was with the air conditioning in the hall—it became very cold within minutes, and there was no remote available. Each time we needed to adjust or turn it off, we had to ask a staff member present in the hall throughout the event.

My overall experience at Sheraton Colombo was excellent. The food was delicious, the rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was welcoming and relaxing.

I would especially like to mention Nimeash in the lounge. He provided outstanding service attentive, polite, and genuinely friendly. He made sure everything was taken care of promptly and went the extra mile to make the experience even more enjoyable. His professionalism and warm attitude truly stood out.

Great service from Shaveen. Good food and drinks!

As soon as our driver turned into the Sheraton Colombo entrance, we didn't have to worry about anything. The staff told us not to pick up our luggage and they will bring it into the lobby.

Our Titanium Status was immediately recognized at Front Desk. We got an upgrade to the Corner Premier Room which we love as there's full ceiling to floor windows on both sides (L-shaped) and therefore, lots of light which was amazing.

When we checked in at 5:15pm, the staff at Front Desk informed us that it's Happy Hours at the Executive Lounge between 5pm to 7pm. We headed up to the 21st floor and reconnected with some of the staff as this was our 2nd stay at the Hotel.

Nimesha made superb Whiskey Sours with Whiskey and not Bourbon.
Food and desserts were very delicious.
Everyone at the Executive Lounge was friendly and helpful.

Breakfast at Colombo Kitchen was great - the spread was never ending. All the staff were very pleasant.

On our departure day, we got a late check-out. Staff at the Executive Lounge told us about a cooking session at the Colombo Kitchen. We learned how to make Hoppers and Chicken Kari. It was a fun Masterclass and we thoroughly enjoyed the chef's knowledge of Sri Lankan Cuisine.

Shashika whom we knew from our stay in 2025, looked us up as he had been transferred from the Executive Lounge to Colombo Kitchen. He took time to come up to the Lounge for a lovely chat. We really appreciated it.

Overall, a wonderful stay !!

We had an amazing stay at the Sheraton Colombo Hotel. Despite arriving late in the afternoon feeling quite tired from a long journey, we were warmly welcomed by the staff right away. They kindly assisted us with our luggage and ensured that our check-in process was smooth and efficient, which we truly appreciated.

The lounge experience was exceptional. The service, food, and beverages were all outstanding, and the staff were incredibly attentive and professional throughout our stay.

Our room was perfect—spotlessly clean, well-lit, and equipped with excellent amenities that made our stay very comfortable.

Breakfast was another highlight. There was a wide variety of delicious options to choose from, all prepared with great taste and quality. The dining area was spacious, peaceful, and quiet, and the staff were always attentive to our needs.

We also truly appreciated the extra effort from the team when we had to check out early at 4 a.m. They thoughtfully prepared and packed breakfast for us, which was a wonderful gesture and definitely a big plus.

Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience. Every staff member we encountered greeted us with warm, genuine smiles, making our stay even more memorable. We would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to others.

The food delicious and the place clean and perfect

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night during our Sri Lanka trip. The reason to choose this hotel was due to being a Marriott Bonvoy hotel and it's central location in Colombo. At all aspects of our stay. The hotel went above and beyond our expectations. I can't even find a single area of improvement and the stay felt like perfection. We are definitely staying at this hotel again if we come back to Colombo as the hotel provided a good value luxury stay.

If we dive into the specifics of the stay:

Welcome: We checked into the hotel around 3 pm. While being a very smart and professional check in and we were offered welcome drinks as well. We were also upgraded into a Premium room due to Marriott Bonvoy status and the room we were given was on the 19th floor with a breath taking ocean view. We thoroughly felt special as soon as we saw the room.

Room: Our room on the 19th floor had impressive views of the ocean. Considering how rundown some buildings in Colombo are, our room felt like an oasis. Super clean. Super comfortable. The bed, the sheets, the robes. Everything was top quality. A minor improvement could be offering on demand TV services on the TV system as it was only live TV available. Apart from that, we didn't have a single complaint about our room.

Hotel amenities: The hotel offers plenty of amenities including an executive lounge, a spa including a sauna and steam room, a roof top pool, a gym and plenty of restaurants. Within our limited time, we tried to experience as much as possible. The massages at the spa were top notch. The lounge offered amazing cookies and the happy hour was an amazing selection of food options in a luxury setup. The pool was warm and clean while the setup could be slightly more updated (e.g. would be nice to see the ocean through glass panels which is blocked in the current setup with the current panels). The hotel offers something for your every need and it's top notch overall.

Service: We always received professional service at every step. The staff had the attitude of “yes, of course” for any request you could have. At the restaurant, there wasn't even a single point where we were left with dirty plates or cutlery. As soon as our meal was finished, everything was cleared. The rooms were also super clean and kept in great state.

Dining: We had dinner at the executive lounge which offered an amazing selection of foods that it felt more like being in a good quality restaurant then a lounge. The breakfast buffet was also amazing. Any food that you can imagine for breakfast was there. The size of the buffet truly impressed us.

Spa: The spa was very easy to find and appointment. It was reasonably priced while giving a top notch spa service. Truly enjoyed my massage that we wished to stay longer to try more treatments at the spa. The sauna and steam rooms offered in the changing rooms were also a nice touch.

We had a great experience in the evening today. Rasun gave us very good service.

We went to Colpetty Lounge to celebrate our 2-year anniversary with my girlfriend, my brother, and friends.

Gimhan and Rasun provided amazing service. Rasun went above and beyond, my brother didn’t like any cocktail on the menu, so Rasun asked what he liked and crafted a custom cocktail that he absolutely loved. Great service all around, and we’ll definitely be back!

Had a great time at Sheraton. The experience was elevated by Rasun with his impeccable hospitality. He was extremely accommodative and had the best time with good food and drinks.

We really enjoyed buffet,very helpful staff and food ,I never had this type of buffet in Colombo ,specially mentioned Dayan he is very friendly ,chef Saman his recommend dessert menu it was superb finally our server supun his attention to detail .good luck team 🙏💕come back again
