Pros:

This hotel is in old Fort in a colknial style building. Beautiful large room and staff so helpful. We only stayed one night but would happily stay here again. it is so charming.

Gemütliche Unterkunft mit kleinen Verbesserungen
Pros:

Die Lage ist top und die Unterkunft ganz gemütlich. Leider sind sehr viele Moskitos in den Zimmern, da die Fenster und Türen kleine Spalte haben. Wir haben glücklicherweise ein kostenfreies Update erhalten und somit ein Zimmer mit Moskitonetz gehabt, welches Gold wert war. Zum Frühstück gab es ein leckeres klassisches Sri Lanka Frühstück.

Cons:

Beim Bezahlen gab es leider eine Unstimmigkeit und man wollte auf unseren Bookingpreis 3% für Kartenzahlung berechnen. Dies wurde uns vorher nirgendwo mitgeteilt. Nach einer kleinen Diskussion wurde jedoch davon abgesehen. Das Zimmer schien auf den ersten Blick sauber. Beim genauen hinschauen waren die Kopfkissen und das Bettlacken dreckig. Nachdem wir dies reklamiert haben, wurde das Bett neu bezogen, jedoch hatten die neuen Bezüge ebenfalls Flecken.

Eine beeindruckende Unterkunft mit allen Eigenschaften für Tage zum Wohlfühlen und Genießen
Pros:

es ist ein sehr stilvolles Haus mit sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal. Zum Frühstück gibt es jeden Tag eine lokale Kostprobe mit liebevoller Erläuterung. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, mit Tea-making facilities und einem kleinen Kühlschrank. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und optimal für viele Aktivitäten.

Perfect Stay in Galle
Pros:

Clean and stylus design, very comfortable bed with functioning mosquito net. Excellent central location to get around Galle and local shop with pharmacy just next door. Breakfast was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka.

This property has it all, lovely helpful staff who make you feel at home, brilliant location within the walls of the old fort, exceptional breakfast, and comfortable beds and bathrooms. It’s a small, personable guesthouse that also offers a street front cafe for passersby so you can drop back ‘home’ any time for refreshments and a comfortable place to rest.

We were very happy with the choice.
Pros:

The location was excellent. It was a small. charming guesthouse type place converted from an old colonial house. No restaurant but a nice breakfast. The rooms were nice and bathrooms big. The staff were able to arrange a driver to take us to Negombo at a reasonable price and a tuk tuk to Turtle Beach.

Cons:

Many of the staff had limited English. We tried to change a 5,000 rupee note for a tuk tuk driver but there was no cash box/cashier facility.
