Would not recomend
Pros:

Nice owner waited for us till 7:30 pm .
He helped with suitcases.

Cons:

Dirty, cockroaches , lizards inside, water getting out from the shower to the whole bathroom. After shower you are walking in the water. Cover for the bed very thin. Location - difficult to get there.
Not good brakfast and coffe .

Ruhiger Aufenthalt mit freundlichen Besitzern
Pros:

Besonders schön war die Ruhe die man in der Unterkunft und auf dem Grundstück hatte! Die Lage ist eher abseits und man muss kleine Wege fahren um zur Unterkunft zu gelangen, doch dort angekommen hat man das Gefühl nur von Natur umgeben zu sein. Die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und haben uns immer köstliches Frühstück sowie Abendessen gekocht. Der Pool war eine gute Erfrischung und sonst war es immer leicht mit Taxi/ Fahrern von der Unterkunft zu anderen Orten zu gelangen. Die Zimmer waren sauber und haben viel Platz geboten.

Poor Communication and Lack of Responsibility

We made a reservation for a one-night stay for four through Booking.com. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.

The property did not inform us in advance that they would not be operating on the day of our booking. We only became aware of this after arriving near the location and contacting them to confirm our arrangements. At that point, we were informed that the property was closed.

This reflects a serious lack of communication and responsibility. If the property is not available, it should not be listed as open for booking, and guests should be notified well in advance to avoid unnecessary inconvenience.

As a result, we experienced avoidable disruption, including wasted time and travel effort. I would advise future guests to exercise caution when considering this property.

Awesome property with awesome hosts.
Pros:

Awesome stay at Lily Safari resort. Rooms are lovely with good working AC.
Pool area is great. Kids and adults loved it.
We had food in the evening which was all cooked fresh and was very very tasty.
In the morning we had a safari booked and we were provided with a breakfast in a cool box for our trip.
Highly recommended. The gentleman who we met at the property were so attentive and friendly. Very welcoming.

Ubytování jsme využili pouze na 1 noc, jelikož jsme měli přes toto ubytování domluvené safari. Vše proběhlo podle domluvy. Ubytování v pořádku, bonusem je bazén.

Pros:

The place is quiet and cozy, swimming pool is clean. Safari arranged by the property was excellent.

It's in the middle of nowhere. It was scary to walk nearby in the evening -no lights and no people.

Enjoyable, relaxing surroundings with a pool available for cooling off.
Pros:

The staff catered for our needs. The breakfast was modified to suit our Western taste.We also enjoyed the local meals they provided for dinner. Transport was available for trips into town.

Perfect one night stop
Pros:

The people running this place were soooo friendly and helpful. They organised everything for us and couldn’t have been more accommodating. It is nestled right in the jungle and so atmospheric at night. After an amazing safari the next morning, we were met back at the hotel with some of the tastiest food. This place was amazing value for money and was perfect for our one night stay as we were just passing through for the safari.

Nothing not to like it was perfect!

Good hidden gem in Sri Lanka
Pros:

The rooms are spacious and clean, we have 2 double beds in the room. Swimming pool is decent size. At the moment they only have 3 rooms so it is quite private. But they are in the process of building a second floor. We were there during the weekend and there were no construction works but when we were leaving on Monday we saw the builders starting. Food in the restaurant is good. Location is great if you have a car or you can get a tuk tuk from the village. Otherwise it is a bit remote

Cons:

The shower is a bit tricky - hot and cold water come from different shower heads. Internet is very slow to non existent
