Lovely old style grandness with very good kind staff.
Pros:

The large rooms and staff were the highlight. Aseleh and Shadi were great hosts and couldn’t do enough to help us.

Lonely ocean views.

Cons:

No air conditioning in public areas, it was very humid.

The buildings and rooms are very grand - some of the furniture antiques lovely - but the interior could use an upgrade, painting etc.

Had a fantastic stay at Hotel Samsara! The breakfast was absolutely superb with a great variety, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended if you're visiting Galle

A good value accommodation with a touch of class
Pros:

The large bedroom was very impressive as was the bathroom.The room we stayed in was well appointed but would have benefited from having a fridge.
The standard for cleanliness was very high.
The staff were lovely.

Cons:

The breakfast room was unremarkable unlike the rest of the building.

Pros:

We had a wonderful experience at Samsara, all thanks to the amazing hospitality and service. Special thanks to Palithu and Sithum for their help throughout. They made sure our stay was comfortable and that we faced no issues. The food was absolutely delicious everyday! Fresh and real Sri Lankan taste.

We cannot recommend this place enough!

Pros:

The staff were very friendly, helpful and always ready to solve problems external to the hotel. Will definitely return. Palitha was my point of contact and he had a calming presence about him that set the tone for our stay.
