A good value accommodation with a touch of class
Pros:

The large bedroom was very impressive as was the bathroom.The room we stayed in was well appointed but would have benefited from having a fridge.
The standard for cleanliness was very high.
The staff were lovely.

Cons:

The breakfast room was unremarkable unlike the rest of the building.

Pros:

We had a wonderful experience at Samsara, all thanks to the amazing hospitality and service. Special thanks to Palithu and Sithum for their help throughout. They made sure our stay was comfortable and that we faced no issues. The food was absolutely delicious everyday! Fresh and real Sri Lankan taste.

We cannot recommend this place enough!

Pros:

The staff were very friendly, helpful and always ready to solve problems external to the hotel. Will definitely return. Palitha was my point of contact and he had a calming presence about him that set the tone for our stay.

Een pareltje in wording
Pros:

Op behoorlijke afstand van Galle (8 km) hebben we genoten van de rust op deze stille plek. Met een zwembad in afbouw belooft het echt een pareltje te worden. De kamers zijn heel ruim, comfortabel en muggenvrij. Op loopafstand bevindt zich een schildpaddenopvang waar we een interessante rondleiding kregen. Ook zijn er verschillende restaurantjes aan het strand. Vermijd echter het New Ocean Hill, tenzij je graag een voedselvergiftiging oploopt.

Cons:

De jongere medewerkers spreken heel matig Engels. Excursies en dergelijke moet je echt zelf regelen. Het autovervoer naar Negombo regelden ze wel vlot.

The staff were friendly and helpful- helped organised a tuk tuk back for NYE. Comfortable stay, breakfast satisfactory.
Pros:

The bathroom and room were a very good size and spacious. I was able to go for a little walk on the sea across which was lovely. Also very close to hikkaduwa beach
