Hiru Lagoon Negombo

The location of the stay is absolutely stunning. The facilities are really good with the host very friendly and accommodating. Food is good but with limited options and no lunch menu. Breakfast was provided.

We spent our last two nights at Hiru Lagoon and it was fantastic way to end our trip to Sri Lanka. The rooms were clean, cool and spacious with tea / coffee and snacks for guests and the outside space was glorious.
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the pool overlooking the lagoon was great for cooling off. I’d also recommend a boat trip around the lagoon which great fun. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Hiru Lagoon. The rooms, garden and pool were all beautiful and very clean. Lovely touches such as snacks in room and fresh flowers on the breakfast table. Breakfast was delicious, as was dinner (which is available on request). Isha and staff were all very helpful. A lovely relaxing few days before our flight, away from hustle and bustle of central Negombo in lovely lagoon side setting. Don’t hesitate to book!

Rustige kleinschalige accommodatie dichtbij Negombo en luchthaven (waar je overigens geen enkele last van hebt). Mooi uitzicht over de lagune vanuit een heerlijk zwembad. Heel vriendelijk personeel en eigenaresse, die ook nog eens fantastisch kan koken! Strand op enkele minuten loopafstand, voor een prachtige zonsondergang.

Stunning property and wonderfully peaceful. All the staff were so lovely, particularly the owner. The property is quite secluded but there were two very nice restaurants nearby if you wanted to venture out (Crab Cove and MAALU by AAYU).

Ein sehr schönes modernes Hotel mit nur 6 Zimmern, direkt an der Lagune gelegen. Das Essen ist phantastisch. Wenn man hier nur übernachtet zum Ankommen oder Abreisen, ist das Hotel die perfekte Wahl.

We were warmly welcomed by our hosts even though we arrived towards midnight.
The room was clean and the breakfasts outstanding. Isha also cooked us an evening meal and was most helpful with any need we had.

Excellent location handy for airport access. Right on lagoon so amazing views and breeze off waterfront.
Very clean comfortable room with modern shower and good water pressure.
Lovely balcony to sit and have a drink or meal. Food freshly cooked and tasty as well as good value. Staff very friendly and helpful. Wonderful oasis to start and finish our trip to Srilanka.

It was ideal fit the airport, an amazing restaurant just round the corner (you’ll need a tuk tuk 🛺) called Crab Cove. The hotel staff were lovely and bring round cups of tea randomly. They also order dinner in for you from another restaurant. The pool has the perfect view of the lagoon and perfect place to sunbathe and relax. We will stay again when we fly to Colombo.

The staff were very accommodating the room comfortable, and the setting by the lagoon lovely.
