Pros:

The outstanding attraction of this property is the hostess Isha. Her warmth and friendliness were the perfect welcome to Sri Lanka.

The grounds were immaculately maintained and the room was very clean and comfortable. The property was quiet and peaceful, the meals were tasty and well presented.

Cons:

If you like to go for a stroll around the neighbourhood, there is not a lot to see, but it is only a 10 minute, 500 LKR tuktuk ride into town.

Calm oasis stop near the airport
Pros:

Serene accommodation on the banks of the lagoon. The place has 6 rooms. The small garden and pool with dappled shade was very welcome. The room was new, with great AC and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner are served on the veranda outside your room. Both meals great - the homemade fish and crab curry and veg curry were both nicely balanced and better than others we've had. The lady owner and the staff were very friendly and really helpful. They coped well with our early morning arrival. You can use the pick me app to order a tuk tuk or car to get into central Negombo (500 to 1200 rupees). We much preferred staying here to the bustle in the town, but it depends on your preferences.

Cons:

There's nothing we didn't like.

A quality boutique hotel that goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome and comfortable.
Pros:

Well appointed clean room facing the gardens, the pool and the lagoon. Truly wonderful team providing exceptional service. The breakfast was served on a terrace outside our room - delicious and different each morning. Always freshly prepared and authentic Sri Lankan fare. We also enjoyed our dinners each evening - again freshly prepared and authentic meals.
It’s located in a quiet spot yet close to the hustle and bustle of Negombo. We took a tuk- tuk to go out and about - quickly organised by the hotel staff.
We can highly recommend Hiru Lagoon.

Cons:

Nothing. It was excellent.

Erholsame Unterkunft
Pros:

Unfassbar zuvorkommendes Personal. Die Angestellten und Vorallem die Besitzerin des Hotels sind extrem freundlich. Wir haben bei der Ankunft unser Handy im Taxi liegen lassen und sie half uns noch Tage später in dieser Sache weiter. Sehr herzlich. Das Zimmer war außerdem sehr sauber und die Aussicht auf die Lagune ist ein Traum. Sehr kleines Hotel, was alles sehr familiär macht.

Magnifique emplacement en bordure du Lagon.

Unbedingt buchen zum entspannten Ankommen und für eine entspannte Heimreise.
Pros:

Die 10 Punkte werden diesem Paradies nicht gerecht - wir haben unseren Urlaub dort begonnen und sind am Schluss hierhin zurückgekommen und es hat sich fast wie "heimkommen" angefühlt: Das Hotel ist extrem geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, gemütlich und man schläft einfach wunderbar - die Lage ist ideal: ruhig und direkt an der Lagune. Die Besitzer sind herzlich und liebenswert, das Frühstück lässt den Tag perfekt beginne. Besonderes Highligt: Das Dinner. Man sollte jedoch beachten: Wer hier seinen Urlaub startet, wird alle weiteren Unterkünfte an diesem Maßstab messen - wie gut, dass man seine Reise hier auch wieder abschließen und wunderbare, herzliche Atmosphäre noch einmal genießen kann. Danke für die tolle Zeit.

Luxurious final stop in Sri Lanka
Pros:

The property is even more beautiful than the photos with a lovely pool and garden. In a perfect location with great restaurant options locally as well as the dinner offered inside the property. Fantastic breakfast spread and a lovely luxurious stay to end our trip in Sri Lanka. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Cons:

Although it didn’t bother us, it is worth noting that it is under the flight path to the airport - though the planes were very infrequent.

Wonderful
Pros:

Isha is so sweet and so accommodating!
The location is great, out of downtown Negombo, peaceful if you compare to the resort street in front of the beach.

Her dream came true opening this hotel, and she is doing it very well with her family.
She has great insights into whatever you need to start your trip ( driver, tips, addresses…) plus she’s a really good cook!

Cons:

Nothing really.
