Hiru Lagoon Negombo

Stunning property and wonderfully peaceful. All the staff were so lovely, particularly the owner. The property is quite secluded but there were two very nice restaurants nearby if you wanted to venture out (Crab Cove and MAALU by AAYU).

Ein sehr schönes modernes Hotel mit nur 6 Zimmern, direkt an der Lagune gelegen. Das Essen ist phantastisch. Wenn man hier nur übernachtet zum Ankommen oder Abreisen, ist das Hotel die perfekte Wahl.

We were warmly welcomed by our hosts even though we arrived towards midnight.
The room was clean and the breakfasts outstanding. Isha also cooked us an evening meal and was most helpful with any need we had.

Excellent location handy for airport access. Right on lagoon so amazing views and breeze off waterfront.

Lovely balcony to sit and have a drink or meal. Food freshly cooked and tasty as well as good value. Staff very friendly and helpful. Wonderful oasis to start and finish our trip to Srilanka.

It was ideal fit the airport, an amazing restaurant just round the corner (you’ll need a tuk tuk 🛺) called Crab Cove. The hotel staff were lovely and bring round cups of tea randomly. They also order dinner in for you from another restaurant. The pool has the perfect view of the lagoon and perfect place to sunbathe and relax. We will stay again when we fly to Colombo.

The staff were very accommodating the room comfortable, and the setting by the lagoon lovely.

Ein echtes verstecktes Juwel – ruhig, entspannt und einfach perfekt, um anzukommen und abzuschalten. Das Essen sowie die Gastfreundschaft sind eine glatte 10+!

Die Unterkunft ist ideal für den Start oder das Ende einer Reise. Das Team ist unglaublich hilfsbereit – ich durfte sogar nach dem Check-out noch länger bleiben, da mein nächster Trip erst später losging. Dafür bin ich sehr dankbar.

Absolut empfehlen kann ich auch die angebotene Bootstour mit Raju. Wenn man die Zeit hat, sollte man sie unbedingt machen – die Fahrt über die Negombo-Lagune ist wunderschön und hat sich total gelohnt. Raju ist super herzlich, und man wird bequem abgeholt und wieder zurückgebracht.

Ich bin wirklich dankbar für diesen besonderen Ort und kann ihn von Herzen weiterempfehlen.

Quiet location and helpful staff

We had a really wonderful stay. The owner was incredibly kind and understanding, which made us feel welcome from the very beginning. We arrived quite tired and decided to have dinner at the hotel – and it turned out to be such a good decision. The food was delicious, and they served it right in front of our room where there was a small table. We could sit there, relax, and enjoy the view over the lagoon.

The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. You can really tell that a lot of care goes into the place. Breakfast was also great and served on the balcony, which made it even more enjoyable.
Overall, we felt very welcomed and taken care of. It was the perfect ending to our vacation.

Beautiful property with a view of the lagoon! The owner also is great cook, we had a fantastic seafood dinner and delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. Our flight was cancelled so we spent a night here and so glad that we did!

Fantastisk lille oase i Negombo tæt på lufthavnen, men i de roligste omgivelser. Dejligt stort værelse med den smukkeste udsigt ud over havet. Vi fik virkelig slappet af her efter en lang rejse og blev forkælet af det sødeste personale der serverede lækker morgenmad lige uden for vores dør.
