Pros:

The property was extremely good and value for money. It was nicely decorated and had everything we needed, even had a dishwasher and washing machine. Great location, only 5 minutes to walk to Burj Khalifa, fountains and mall. We did have an issue with WiFi and TV, we didn’t have either for 3 1/2 out of 5 days. We could get WiFi in foyer though. We did have communications with the property’s agent, and to be fair they had several people trying to fix it and eventually we got it. Silkhaus have given us compensation for this inconvenience. Overall a great place to stay, but to be honest Dubai is not really us. It was an interesting experience but won’t be repeated.

Pros:

The building looked good, the apartment looked okay. The furniture inside was uncomfortable, the bed very uncomfortable, the TV didn’t work the first three days, the shower wasn’t working, the diverter was broken, the dishwasher was broken, so I spent too much time talking to management and waiting for their technician to come and fix the problems, never happened, It was a complete disaster for us. I will not recommend this place to anyone. I am questioning how Expedia recommends this property. I asked for compensation and partial refund, I got only 500Aed. I forced to change my plan and pay $400 to change my flight back home.

Pros:

The apartment itself was fine however the hot water system did not work, this was obviously a known issue as the power had been turned off and there was a cup in place to collect the water, so we had to spend most of the first day in or around the unit while they replaced the hot water system, not ideal when we only had a couple of days in Dubai

Pros:

On the morning of 15/11/2024, the fire alarm went off at 8 a.m., causing significant alarm and stress. I was not informed beforehand that this would happen. When I initially inquired with the hosts, I was told that the alarm had been activated by accident. However, after speaking directly with the security team of the accommodation, I learned that this was actually a planned fire alarm test, for which other residents had been informed—except me.

Otherwise location is good and the people take a while to respond but do respond

Pros:

Love the bed the most; it felt really clean. The mattress was firm, and the blanket and pillow were comfortable and warm.

Most of the items you require for daily living are provided for you to use but be prepared to make additional purchases such as oil for cooking.

Location-wise, it is walkable, but it's a 20-minute walk minimum to get to most locations, which takes a lot of time, including the metro. Taxis can be hailed via their local app very easily however.

The gym and pools are not busy, so you would generally have the space to yourself.
