I booked this hotel 8 months ago and 3 ago they cancelled my reservation and won't provide me a full refund. It's a disgrace, and thievery. Don't trust this place.

I’m always very clear on what I would like from a hotel. Location, value, service. When I visit a great city (Rotterdam!) I am not going to spend long hours in my hotel room. I want the room to be clean, have hot water, and be pleasant. And be a value proposition. Why spend Euro 250 a night for a space I occupy for a relatively short period!
Sonder Rose by Marriott is an excellent choice!
Firstly it is modern, clean, attractive in general, has brilliant staff (great night concierge) and is a great value proposition. You don’t pay for services you don’t need. It points towards a new hotel proposition in general. You get what you pay for. The room was very pleasant and really good shower.
It’s well located 15 minutes from the Central Station by Tram 8 and a few minutes walk to the waterfront. Can highly recommend.

The hotel was modern, clean and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay here. Really central and easy to access all the sightseeing spots Rotterdam has to offer. The best thing about our stay was the hotel receptionist Ebony. Smiling and happy all the time. She heated up our food for us in the hotel microwave and chatted with us while we waited. If we return to Rotterdam we’d definitely stay here again.

Our room in the courtyard was clean and quiet, with decent curtains for cutting out the light. We slept well. The room itself was spacious, but the desk in it was quite tiny.

This is a basic hotel, but if that is what you want, it is quite good. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Bare essentials bed was not comfortable, air conditioning issues (wouldn’t cool) with bad plumbing issues. We had water poring out the pipes below are sink. Front seat tried to fix to no avail. Did not offer a new room so we just didn’t use. I would stay somewhere else..

What a great find for our short stay in Rotterdam. We had a lovely top floor room with a nice view over the street. It was quiet and the beds were comfortable.

The bathroom was clean and the rain shower was very powerful.

My only feedback was the layout of the room. There was very little storage space for clothes and a lot of blank walls that could easily fit a couch, table, chairs or additional storage. Our room was for 3 guests, yet only 1 chair was available in the room.

There was a TV I could connect apps to etc, however it would have been nice to be able to watch local TV, however it didn't seem available.

I'm all for sustainability, however it seems to be the term used when hotels don't offer to service your room unless you ask for it. We only stayed 2 nights, so certainly didn't need our room serviced, but sometimes feel it's more about saving money rather than sustainability. I think it could be offered in a different way. e.g. if you want new towels please let us know or ask at reception.

I would definitely recommend this hotel as we found it very comfortable and the staff (even though we only interacted at check-in and check-out) were friendly and always smiled when we walked past.

If I travelled to Rotterdam again I would definitely book here again.

The room was ok , just compact , confined and lacking day light .the window was unreachable and was small. Not sure id stay here again

The hotel was not as convenient as thought. In fact, it was a distance fm the main train station. The tram stop was right in front of the hotel but we waited a bit too long for the tram n the return tram stop was not so near n easy to the hotel. Our room didnt hv a sheltered walkway so we were exposed when it rained.

Very good place to stay for a few days

Lovely hotel. Felt very welcoming. Eco friendly. Right on the water. Good dining nearby. Nice parks.

Well equipped hotel for decent price, at a great location. Single room is compact but has all facilities you need. Would recommend!

The hotel was nice and my room was overall good. There were a couple of tiny things that called into question how clean my room was (small stains on the carpet and some white goo on the bathroom wall). I was surprised that there were no usb outlets in the room. Overall, it was comfortable and friendly. I enjoyed my stay

Hotel is conveniently located close to Rotterdam waterfront, transportation, restaurants and a supermarket. All within easy walking distance. The rooms are modern and clean and staff friendly and helpful. Our room faced the street but there was no noticeable noise from outside. Bed was very comfortable. Only difficulty experienced was watching the TV. Had to stream from phone and WiFi connection was spotty. Despite this difficulty still highly recommend. Great value.

Friendly staff, easy check in and check out. Felt secure in this hotel, especially with the code access. Lockers to hold bags is a good touch. Only thing that I would’ve hoped for is a WC in the reception for those that haven’t checked in yet.
