I am looking forward to be back
Pros:

I spent 3 days in Galle at the Taveetti hotel. Everything was immaculate, food was healthy and delicious ( although I would have preferred more Sri Lankan options on the menu) The beach club faces a great beach and it is very well looked after. The reception is quick at responding to any need. The massage I booked was really really good. If I go back to Sri Lanka I will definitely go back to Tavetti.

Cons:

It would have been nice to know that the hotel and the Beach Club are actually separate buildings and that one has to cross a very busy road to go from one to the other. The stuff is really attentive and they will help you cross the road in the evening, when if feels quite daunting for a person not used to the Sri Lankan roads.

Schönes Hotel im sri-lankischen Stil mit dazugehörigem Beach Club
Pros:

Es gab einen hoteleigenen Beach Club, wo man frühstücken und Dinner einnehmen konnte (sehr lecker). Außerdem gehörte ein sehr gepflegter Strand dazu mit Liegen etc. Wunderbarer Blick auf den Ozean inkl. Sonnenuntergang!

Do not stay here if you expect any amenities. It is NOT a five star hotel.
Pros:

Very little! The rooms were lovely.
There was no bar or restaurant despite what it says on booking.com.
The ‘private beach’ is up the road and across the street - misleading!
The staff were great, the guy on reception was not helpful.

Cons:

No shower cap, slippers or robe.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms. Staff was super friendly too! You could make use of the sunbeds of the beach club oppposite the road.

Cons:

I am happy to leave a review but it is a little too much to be asked for 3 separate reviews over the course of 3 dates (1 for beach club asked twice, and 2 for hotel via google maps/booking).

Pros:

Good location and very clean modern rooms. Provided a laundry service which was very convenient. Staff very friendly and nice.

Pros:

Anyone staying here should eat at lamprais.galle, an amazing place where a 5 star chef cooking amazing lamprais and other Sri Lankan specialties in his home with some of the best service we had on our trip. A 10 minute walk from the hotel and incredibly cheap!

Taavetti's staff were very accommodating and the facilities were great.

Cons:

If you want Sri Lankan food, there are better, cheaper options outside the hotel and beach club

A luxurious place with fantastic amenities, great staff and the food was amazing!
Pros:

Great place, kind staff, food at associated restaurant fantastic

Cons:

I was extremely happy but for some it might be a little far from the shops. If you wish to go somewhere the staff or even the owner will help
get there!
