We really enjoyed the location and room was new and modern .. we walked to beach for a swim each morning and came back for breakfast.. staff were just lovely and super helpful .

The triple room was very nice & spacious. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options. The pool was great after a day on the beach!
We were put in a different hotel for 2 nights (the first night was our error) when we had booked months in advance. Then when we moved to Paddyway we weren't put into the rooms we had booked. We were in a separate building to our teenage children & our children (boy & girl) were put in a double room with a double bed! We then had to move again the following night & we were put in the room we had booked after 3 nights but our children weren't moved until the following night but not into the triple room we had booked! The grounds could do with a tidy up around the edges.
Goede locatie (zijstraatje van de hoofdweg), leuk zwembad, heel ruime kamer, heel vriendelijk personeel, superlekker ontbijt (à la carte, heerlijke smoothiebowls, pannenkoeken, fruit, eitjes,…) We zouden er direct teruggaan! We boekten ook een surfles via het hotel en dat was ook prima in orde.
Niets, we voelden er ons heel goed op ons gemak.
A great property just set back from the main road away from all the chaos of the Main Street. Great facilities - lovely pool , great shower in the room and massive comfy beds
The staff are amazing couldn’t do enough for you, they arranged surf lessons and other trips. Couldn’t do enough for you.

The staff was very very kind and extremely helpful. Big thanks guys, you rock🙏 Location of hotel very good, nice swimming pool and a fantastic breakfast, really! Had a good sleep in the big room with great AC.
A couple of points could make this a real fantastic resort, this is just constructive feedback to make it even better (no real criticism):
- default daily room cleaning and new towels (you get it if you ask of course)
- free drinking water added in the room (had this really everywhere in Sri Lanka)
- rooms could be cleaned a little better (spider webs, ants, some stains...)
- the area around the pool could be improved/cleaned to make it perfect, also the same at ground side of the new building...
- I think all will be great when new building is ready

Not much - The bed was comfortable .
The property was a bit of a building site with a new block going up. Not really a restaurant to speak of so would not choose to eat there - more just a collection of a few odd tables and chairs . Not sure how they advertise they have a restaurant . The bathroom drains in the kids room were so awful they would not use the bathroom . Rooms not serviced each day . Other guests made such a noise we ended our stay a day early .

Beautiful large clean room. Excellent chef, who made us lots of delicious food. Friendly and helpful staff who made sure we had everything we needed. Calm atmosphere with beautiful pool.

WiFi did not work in the room for duration of the stay (3 days), TV did not work for the first day. No cleaning of rooms on day 2 and then day 3 they asked if we want the room cleaned.
Nice location and quiet at the same time. Nice pool, comfy rooms. The staff did everything to make the stay comfy. They even fixed my bag handle that was broken, helped me get a taxi and book surfing. They were just super friendly. The owner himself looked after that my stay is good.

Our room was lovely with a comfortable bed. Little fridge in the room and nice cool air conditioning. The staff went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. We had the SriLankan omelette for breakfast both mornings which was delicious.
The grounds really need a tidy up. The grass is long and the gardens need weeding.

I had a wonderful stay at Paddyway Resorts! From the moment I arrived, the staff were so friendly and made me feel welcome. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed, including a really cosy bed. I loved the facilities, especially the clean pool and the peaceful yoga sessions surrounded by paddy fields and nature – it was so relaxing. The on-site restaurant was perfect, serving delicious food that made every meal a treat. The location near Arugam Bay Beach was ideal too. Everything about my stay was fantastic, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!
