Brilliant host and location!
Pros:

Our host was brilliant - he had brilliant recommendations and contacts which made our stay easy and exciting. The location is great, just a minutes walk into town with many restaurants. Lions Rock entrance is also only a 5/10 minute walk from the property.

Highly recommend this place!
Pros:

Location was great. A beautiful setting. The manager was so helpful and kind. He set us up on a safari tour that was amazing. Food was good. Id definitely stay there again.

Pros:

Hôtel idéalement situé entre l'entrée et la sortie du Lion's Rock. Dans un écrin de verdure et très bien entretenu. L'hôtel propose également les safaris puisqu'ils possèdent une jeep; le safari a Eco park etait très bien.
La chambre est très spacieuse et la salle de bain est simple mais fonctionnelle.
Les petits dejeuners sont copieux.
Le directeur et le personnel de l'hôtel sont très disponible et de bons conseils. Je recommande vivement.

Generalnie wszystko w porządku. Obfite śniadanie: naleśniki, jajka, tortille, chleb, kawa, herbata, dużo owoców. Dużo komarów, warto mieć coś do psikania.

Very disappointing - if you stay don’t accept room 106!
Pros:

The location was good - close to restaurants and a couple of small convenience stores.

Cons:

The room I was given was nothing like the photos of the rooms on here - or indeed the room I had paid for. The air con didn’t work, the promised view was of a rubbish tip, the door had a gap at the top making it an ideal mosquito entry route. The hot water was sporadic at best - but I expected that when he told me it was solar powered. When I arrived and he realised I was solo he snatched the second towel off the bed and took it away. The next day I spoke to them and showed them the room I had paid for on BdC - and was moved to a better room - the one I had actually booked and paid for. It was much better and the Aircon worked and it had the promised garden view (although to be fair that is also a bit of an exaggeration). The gentleman on reception looked very taken aback when I showed him the things listed for this property on this website - there are basically none of them available in the room - apart from tiny bottles of shampoo etc. To add to my experience on coming home from dinner any 9.45 last night I found the gates locked! I thought I was going to have to crawl through the elephant fence. Luckily banging on the gate roused the receptionist who told me they shut the gates at 9.30! Would have been good to know that before I went out - I really didn’t fancy a night with the stray dogs and elephants!

Pros:

Super bequeme Matratzen. Der Besitzer ist sehr bemüht und gibt einem eine gute Übersicht was man alles im Ort machen kann und worauf man achten soll. Das tierwohl und die Natur sind ihm ebenfalls ein Anliegen…das findet man (leider) nicht überall.

We stayed at the sunshine resort as part of our honeymoon and we loved it! The resort is perfectly situated in Sigirya, close to both Lion Rock and Pidurangula. The team are so incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make our stay extra special.

Cons:

The spa was closed during our stay but the resort has an arrangement that visitors can use the facilities at a neighbouring resort - we were much too busy enjoying the local area and exploring to need this!

Pros:

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Sigiriya. Le personnel était particulièrement agréable et souriant. Nous avons pu faire un safari magnifique proposé par l'hôtel (je vous recommande). L'emplacement de l'établissement permet de tout faire à pieds. Le petit déjeuner était très bon, nous avons pu goûter et découvrir des spécialités du pays. Le personnel nous a conseillé pour la suite de notre voyage. Merci pour ce séjour et pour votre sourire.

Cons:

Le sèche cheuveux de la salle de bain ne fonctionne pas
