Supreme Dambulla

Het is een aangenaam verblijf maar kamer zat vol muggen al zat er een anti mug plug in. Geen enkele kapstok of kast om kledij op te hangen. Van 7u s morgens tot 22u jazz muziek is te veel. Geen keuze gehad tussen Europees ontbijt of Sri likaans. Brits ontbijt gekregen,is een afknapper,brood is droog en ongeroosterd..

We arrived after a 3 hour drive from Colombo to find the hotel had emailed 30 minutes earlier to cancel our booking. I was told there was no water or electricity in the room due to an unforeseen maintenance issue. They did at least find us alternative accommodation. Still waiting on being refunded for the original booking

Did not have the room that we were promised and paid for.

Selvi , Abi and Madhu deserve to be recognised for their amazing service from the time we arrived for our 4 night stay , the girls were always smiling always helpful, we loved the daily towel art in our very clean and cool air conditioned room , then we enjoy the lovely pool and then we were spoilt rotten every morning with the delicious traditional Sri Lanka breakfasts , we give this hotel 6 stars

全体的にはリラックスして過ごせる良いホテルだと思いますが、少しだけ気になった点もあります。部屋にゴミ箱、タオル類が置いてなかったこと、ホテルまでの道のりが夜は暗くて、野良犬がいて怖かったこと、それから、どこからか部屋の中に蚊が入って来て、夜は蚊に悩まされました。蚊の対策はなんとかやってほしいなと思います。その他は静かに過ごすことのできる落ち着いたホテルだと思います。プールもあるので、水着持参でプールで泳ぐのがおすすめかと思います。スタッフもフレンドリーで親切でした。良いホテルだが、今後の頑張りにさらに期待。

Meillä piti olla huoneessa 1 parisänky ja 4 yhden hengen sänkyä. Huone oli kuitenkin tavallisen huoneen kokoinen ja siellä oli normaalisti vain yksi parisänky. Kun tulimme kirjautumaan sisään, jouduimme odottamaan, että huoneeseen kannettiin yksi lisävuode. Meitä oli kolme kaverusta emmekä halunneet nukkua yhdessä parisängyssä, joten asiasta huomautettuamme huoneeseen tuotiin myös toinen parisänky. Siinä kesti kauan ja kahden lisävuoteen kanssa huone olikin tosi täysi. Huone itsessään oli miellyttävä ja siisti.

Keskustaan oli n. kilometri, josta viimeiset puoli kilometriä hyvin pientä tietä.

Palvelu oli ystävällistä hyvällä englannilla.

Paikalla oli oma ravintola pihalla. Myös aamiainen tarjottiin siinä. Aamupalalla oli nakkeja, paahtoleipää, omelettia ja hedelmiä.

The Hotel Supreme in Dambulla is definitely recommended. We stayed 4 nights in the superior room and had no problem at all. The hosts and the staff are courteous and very helpful. The atmosphere is relaxing and after a long trip you can easily enjoy your beer at the fika bar.
