Lentezza nel servizio al ristorante, manutenzione docce
La nostra esperienza al Saffron ha superato ogni aspettativa. La struttura è un'oasi immersa nel verde. Un servizio aggiuntivo molto apprezzato è la possibilità di usufruire di trasporti locali, come tuk-tuk e boda-boda, a tariffe decisamente modiche e accessibili.
Le camere sono spaziose, pulitissime e dotate di tutti i comfort, in totale ci sono poche camere lasciando molto spazio al verde tra l'una e l'altra. Nota di merito per il personale, sempre attento e caloroso, e per la ristorazione, eccellente dalla colazione alla cena, inclusi gli ottimi cocktail. La struttura è molto attenta agli sprechi e fornisce una colazione al piatto evitando buffet che potrebbero risultare eccessivi e irrispettosi. Nei pressi della struttura consiglio il Falconry Of Kenya Ltd.
A rendere indimenticabile il soggiorno a Watamu è stata la nostra guida locale, Roy Watamu Kenya (+254111929003). Un ragazzo del posto che parla perfettamente italiano e inglese: professionale, empatico e appassionato. Roy organizza sia escursioni guidate lungo la costa sia meravigliosi safari nell'entroterra, guidando i viaggiatori alla scoperta del vero spirito keniota. Un plauso speciale va anche al suo collaboratore, David.
Raccomandiamo assolutamente questo resort e l'esperienza guidata con Roy per un viaggio completo e perfetto.
L'unico appunto negativo riguarda il bagno: nonostante l'eleganza e la pulizia, l'erogazione dell'acqua dal soffione della doccia e dal miscelatore del lavandino risultava fastidiosa, un aspetto tecnico che andrebbe rivisto.
Nonostante Malindi sia una città che merita di essere visitata e vissuta consiglio il soggiorno a Watamu che risulta un piccolo paese che ha da offrire di più soprattutto se si vuole trascorrere giornate in spiaggia o spostandosi in luoghi da visitare.
Habitación y baño amplios. Todo muy limpio. Las instalaciones son modernas sin perder la esencia de las construcciones típicas. El personal es muy amable.

The rooms, pool and garden are just perfect. The hotel is well maintained and very beautiful. It really is a piece of heaven and the atmosphere very relaxing. Breakfast was good.
Not the hotels fault , but Malindi is not the best town in kenya. We walked along the beach and found a couple of good restaurants nearby.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, confortable and well maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming and always ready to help. The location was excellent and overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend!

I loved the customer service, the staff are all amazing! Absolutely helpful and even upgraded me to a junior suite, so so nice of them. The room was beautiful and extremely clean, hot water in the shower even made it better. There was a swimming pool though I didn't swim but looked well maintained and cleaned. As a solo female traveller I also felt very safe. The location is very convenient for town related activities such as Lost beach, bar bar etc. Also looked very nice, and ambient at night. The hotel exceeded my expectations generally
The menu could be better. I did not see alot of options I could chose from in their Lobster house menu, especially sea food related. I have no issue with the breakfast that was amazing, but lunch and dinner menu options were not so good and lacked variety. This is my only downside, but easily fixable as there were many nearby spots
One of the best hotels in Malindi if you are looking for a relaxing stay or just to explore the location. Their breakfast is in À la carte and not buffet but it's 5 star quality better than most posh hotels in the area. The lobster restaurant has some of the tastiest meals even though the menu is a bit limited. Hotel staff were really friendly and catered to every request. Incase your bored the hotel has some nice board games you can try.The place has a relaxing atmosphere and a good place to "touch grass".
