Bliss haven apartments

I had a terrible experience with them. The quality/amenities of what I booked for was not what was provided. For instance I booked for a full apartment with kitchen and pool available, however, I was given a very tiny bed sitter with a kitchenette and no pool or bar whatsoever as was advertisd.The standard of accommodation provided was very poor in comparison to the amount I paid for. A friend booked more than 2x cheaper accommodation close to the test center and was 10x bigger, beautiful and better than Bliss Haven apartment.That was when I further saw that I have been cheated.

Furthermore, there was dishonesty in the location advertised. Because my test center is in Westlands, I searched for accommodations around Westlands and found Bliss Haven apartments which displays Westlands as location. However, I was taken to Kaisa gardens, located in a totally different region away from Westlands. They were not also honest when they advertised the apartment as fully refundable. When I tried to cancel booking way ahead of the stipulated deadline, because my flight arrival time would be 4am about 6 hours before the check in time, I saw that only 50% was refundable. And even when I pleaded for a hold in area, I wasn't provided any, not even the option to hold on at the security post, even though I had paid fully for my the accomodation. So on the day of my arrival I had to stay outdoors, in the cold in Kenya until 1pm! Bliss Haven apartments made my visit to Kenya a horrible one!!

It was a decent place, lacking a few things. The person in charge is super stingy. We lost electricity, the contact person only paid a little bit and we ran out of electric, again. This time they took the token box and we had to sit in darkness for a while. The employees were great. I need reliable electric for internet for work purposes and this isn’t the place for that.

Great place and the price is unbeatable for what they offer

No proper direction, the bath leaking water everywhere dangerous could slip and hurt the mates very slippers i only stay for a night that was enough.

Like everything about the property. The host Daniel is very pleasant and helpful.

For the price this was ok, the staff were friendly and housekeeper provided laundry service and also offered to clean shoes and sandals for which I tipped. The pool charged 700 Kes per day to use which was not advertised in the ad. There was cockroach infestation in the kitchen at arrival which got much worse within days. After speaking to the owner fumigation was offered. I had to ask to move to a different apartment while this was done. After there was dead roaches however the infestation was gone. I did notice another adult cockroach on my last night there under the water dispenser so it seems to be an ongoing issue. I've read this is common in Nairobi and the owner was accommodating which I appreciate. The restaurant downstairs was nice and had a good patio area. The staff and guards were all friendly and helpful and made me feel safe on my stay. Overall it was decent for the price.

My wife and I enjoyed the stay at bliss. We will revisit it.

They only need to have a facility where guests who check out on time store their luggages till the time of departure.

It was a super nice stay in a very safe area. There were protests in Nairobi so I stayed in the apartments for several days and felt very safe and comfortable.
