Pros:

The room was fabulous- large, comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, suggesting activities based on our interests. The gardens are pretty and whimsical, giving wonderful views. And I loved details such as having a bowl of fruit and chocolate available at all times!

Pros:

Breakfast was excellent and delicious. Staff are friendly. Maveena the manager was attentive. Beautiful place to take photos. Rooms are clean and nice to have refreshments. We truly enjoyed our stay

Cons:

Location is not so convenient for food so the only option is to eat out or dine in their restaurant.

The best stay we have ever had. Highly recommend this experience.
Pros:

The breakfast each morning was excellent and started our day very well. The elegance of the rooms, bathrooms, layout, spa pool, sauna, and staff assistance was simply perfect. The grounds were amazing and an eye opener. We loved the Bamboo Garden, the birds, the rabbit, loved it all.

Pros:

A very warm and friendly welcome from the staff, who took the time to show us around and even helped arrange a taxi booking. Breakfast was excellent, and being able to pre-order was incredibly convenient as we had an early start. The room was comfortable, and we especially loved the heated bathroom floor—it was a wonderful touch.

Cons:

There was some noise from the room next door in the evening, and we could occasionally hear conversations and the television. While it wasn't a major issue, it did make it a little harder to get to sleep, however I'm a very light sleeper so may not effect everyone.

Lovely! We enjoyed it! :)
Pros:

Very clean and tidy. Enjoyed looking at the paintings and sculptures. Was fun walking around in the bamboo forest and seeing the giant bunny! We had an upgrade to our room and they were lovely to my 4 year old daughter, giving her a free breakfast in the morning without charge.

Cons:

There was some kind of a leak outside our room, so water was dropping throughout the night which made it hard to have a restful sleep. The staff tried to help but of course it cannot be repaired overnight. :)

It advertised that it had Sky TV in every room. It has the Sky Open channel… so sports lovers be aware! We had to watch the rugby on our phones

Star is amazing!
Pros:

Staff were exceptional and very welcoming. We were lucky to have Star look after us who made us feel right at home. The property is beautiful and we took our time exploring the gardens. We played a game of pool and had a lovely drink at the cute bar onsite. The room itself was outstanding, very spacious and comfortable. It felt luxurious without the price tag. But Star was the best part of our stay!

Perfect get-away hotel!
Pros:

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was spotless, and the location was peaceful and quiet while still being just a short drive from all the attractions and activities in and around Rotorua. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Fabulous
Pros:

We stayed for one night and had a wonderful experience. We checked in around 2:00 pm, and the reception staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even offered us chocolates and took the time to explain everything the hotel had to offer, including activities in and around the property.
The hotel is beautifully decorated with an Alice in Wonderland theme, which makes it feel unique and magical.
The next morning, we accidentally missed breakfast. We asked if there was any chance we could have something to eat, and the staff immediately went to the kitchen to ask the chef. To our surprise, the chef prepared breakfast for us anyway. We really appreciated this thoughtful gesture it went above and beyond our expectations.
The outstanding customer service made our stay truly memorable. Thank you to the amazing team for making us feel so welcome. We had a fantastic experience and would happily stay here again

From the stunning sculpltures and the charming lodge itself to the peaceful surroundings, every corner feels welcoming and serene. Pros:

Absolutely loved everything about our stay at Hana Lodge.
Starting from the warm welcome from our host Star, who showed us all of the lodge amenities and beautiful surroundings, continuing with the exceptional dinners we ate from both in-house chefs, and finally to the clean, comfortable and well appointed room.
If you don't plan to stay here, you should 100% visit for dinner and taste their amazing 5-star restaurant quality food.
Thank you to all of the staff for making this a memorable stay.
