La María Hotel Boutique

We loved our time at La Maria Hotel. We found this hotel through our travel agent and she said she would not stay anywhere else in Mendoza and we could t agree more! We have traveled all over the world and stayed at 5 star hotels and this hotel compares very favorably. This is an intimate hotel with seven rooms in a perfect location, walking distance to Chacras De Coria (a very quaint and high end town) and a 15 minute ride to Mendoza. The rooms were beautiful and very spacious, the breakfast was delicious and abundant, the property is gorgeous and very clean and the staff was just the best, so kind, helpful, friendly and beyond accommodating. We loved our stay.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at La María Hotel Boutique. Everything was simply perfect.
The room was beautiful and full of thoughtful details, featuring a jacuzzi, sauna, and even a private pool — truly a luxury experience. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a perfect night’s rest.
Breakfast was delicious, with great attention to detail, and the location is excellent. What made the stay even more special was that I was celebrating my birthday, and the hotel surprised me with a lovely gift: a cake, sparkling wine, and a handwritten congratulatory note. Such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture.
The staff was extremely attentive and kind throughout the entire stay. I would definitely come back without hesitation. An outstanding boutique hotel and a truly memorable experience.

My stay at La María Hotel Boutique was exceptional in every sense. The property blends understated luxury with warmth and personality, creating an experience that feels refined yet deeply comfortable.

Each room is named after a great writer, with books thoughtfully placed throughout the property, a subtle but meaningful detail that adds soul and character. The room itself was expansive and beautifully designed, more like a private luxury apartment than a hotel room. Having a full kitchen, a private plunge pool, and an in-room sauna made the experience feel exclusive and indulgent. The bathroom was absolutely dreamy and added to the feeling of total retreat. The exterior spaces mirror the same attention to detail: warm, welcoming, and quietly elegant.

The location in Chacras is ideal, peaceful, scenic, and perfectly situated for exploring wineries and restaurants, while still feeling private and serene. It was incredibly relaxing, the only sounds in the morning were birds chirping after I woke up, which made the experience feel restorative and private. The entire property was spotless, with impeccable cleanliness throughout.

The staff were outstanding - gracious, attentive, and genuinely invested in making my stay effortless. They arranged winery tours and restaurant reservations seamlessly. Breakfast was exceptional as well, it was fresh, delicious, and something I looked forward to each morning. I also enjoyed an in-room massage arranged through the hotel, and the therapist was of the highest professional caliber. Having that experience in the privacy of my room was truly exceptional.

For this level of comfort, service, privacy, and thoughtful design, the value is truly unmatched. You simply cannot find this quality of experience at this price point elsewhere. Hotel La María feels like a distant home you never want to leave - elegant, peaceful, and deeply restorative. Highly recommended.

We absolutely and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Maria - the only downside is that our 2 night stay wasn’t long enough! The property is well laid out, tranquil and peaceful. Our suite was amazing - spacious and yet cozy, with so many extra touches, like Alexa controlled shades, a wooden soaking tub, a fireplace, a dry sauna right off the shower, and a personal plunge pool. The service was amazing as well - from check in to check out. They assisted with dinner and bodega reservations, and quickly delivered any requested items to our room. We had the privilege to meet the owner while we were there, and greatly enjoyed hearing the story of how the hotel came to be and how he salvaged an original adobe wall from an existing structure on the property. If we ever find ourselves in the Mendoza area again, we will definitely return to La Maria!

Wow I cannot say enough good things about La Maria. It was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. The rooms are beautiful and huge. The service is the best I’ve ever had. Within 1-2 mins of requesting anything, they are at your door. It was incredible! They upgraded our room without asking for no charge as well. Everyone at the front desk was exceptionally helpful. The property is stunning and we loved the area nearby to walk to restaurants. It was also centrally located for a short drive to a lot of the wineries we visited. We will definitely be back!!

La Maria was a wonderful hotel to stay in. Barbara gave us a warm, friendly, and efficient welcome, and was always on hand to help with our itinerary and especially useful with her knowledge of the local bodegas! Our suite was beautiful, decorated in a charming New Mexico–Californian style, with pretty palm-tree gardens and a relaxing waterfall just outside. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent, thoughtfully prepared, and full of fresh flavors. We truly didn’t want to leave and are already looking forward to returning.

This boutique hotel is beyond. From the moment you enter the tranquil gates you are greeted with such friendly staff. A glass of while awaits while you check in. Once you enter your suite you will be so happy you chose to stay here! It’s like nowhere I’ve ever stayed. It’s aromatic. Relaxing. Earthy. Boho. Wired amazingly with Alexa to open and close your blinds and play your music. You are able to have the complimentary breakfast delivered to your personal dining room at a minimal charge and it’s fantastic. They made all of our reservations. They had a wine happy hour meet and greet. I cannot say enough about this boutique hotel. A must see and stay. Right in the heart of the vineyards. A+

Loved our stay in this intimate oasis, with rooms named after great writers, and books spread across the hotel. It truly invites you to slow down & be in the moment. Good value for money with private jacuzzi & saunas in the room. Service & quality of food was excellent.

If the term “Boutique Hôtel” makes you think of a tiny, charming hideaway, prepare to have your expectations delightfully redefined. Our stay in Mendoza delivered all the character you’d hope for. The hotel has seven beautifully appointed rooms, each uniquely themed after a famous writer—but with a level of spaciousness that absolutely surprised us. We landed the Hemingway Suite and this so-called “boutique” room clocks in at over 1,000 square feet. Most rooms have their own private plunge pool and dry sauna and ours even had a full kitchen. Think cozy charm but supersized.
If Mendoza is on your radar (or even if it isn’t yet), we wholeheartedly recommend this “quaint” little sanctuary. The value for what you get is genuinely impressive.

We’ve stayed at many very nice resorts and La Maria is in the top tier. The website does not convey how nice and spacious the guest rooms are, the intimate and sophisticated setting and of course very personal service. Great value and perfect location for Mendoza area wine tasting and Barbara helped organize it all for us. She is amazing!

This well located hotel in Mendoza provided one of the top three hotel experiences I have had. I stayed in the Camus Suite- it had everything you could want incluing a private heated plunge pool and in room sauna. The hotel is located in a beauifully landscaped and private compound. Stylish and sophisticated decor. The bed was so comfortable. Service warm and gracious, greeting us with a glass of Mendoza wine. Good recommendations for dinner. Pictures on the website do not do it justice. Worth every penny and at a bargin price compared to USA.

Beautiful place, minutes from everything, very clean, awesome staff very helpful and always suggesting ideas and places to better your trip. Also has a great restaurant onsite with wonderful chefs and a great wine selection.

I really can’t speak highly enough of this hotel. The rooms are probably some of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in as well as the service and attention we received was world class. The team couldn’t do enough for us and were beyond helpful throughout our stay. I wish La Maria every success in the future as it truly deserves it. I have already been sharing photos and videos with friends telling them they have to go. Thank you for an incredible experience

We were greeted at the door by friendly staff when we arrived for our week stay. From that point on we were made to feel like we were a part of the family. Each staff member made an effort to get to know us and were so nice and helpful. The rooms are huge and are beautifully designed and decorated. The theming of each room around famous authors is unique and impressive. The individual spa and sauna for each room gave us privacy and the opportunity to relax in our own space. The beds are comfortable and the huge TV is cool. Plenty of storage space and a kitchenette made it feel like home. The grounds are immaculate and spacious and provides many areas to relax. The restaurants breakfast, dinner and service was first rate. Highly recommended

Highly recommended! I stayed at Boutique Hotel La Maria in Mendoza for 8 days, and it was absolutely wonderful. Everything was perfect — the relaxing sauna, the lovely pool, the super comfortable beds, and the beautiful garden that feels like a little paradise. The restaurant serves amazing food, and the staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel completely at home.

What makes it even more special is the location — you can go mountain biking right from the hotel, with the Andes trails starting just outside the door. Every detail has been thought of, and it truly shows. A fantastic experience from start to finish — 5 stars, well deserved!

This hotel is well located. The hotel is a small, boutique hotel and is ideal for couples who prefer a quiet hotel. The rooms are beautifully appointed with facilities such as saunas, heated plunge pool and a cinema room. We stayed in the Isabel Allende suite. All the facilities in the room can either be controlled manually or via Alexa Home. The staff were excellent and provided outstanding service throughout our stay. The on-site restaurant (Daukos) offered excellent food and an impressive wine list. This hotel is an ideal spot to base oneself for visits to Mendoza’s vineyards.

Wow what an amazing experience! The room was incredible with 2 saunas, a huge tub, a wonderful outdoor area with our own pool. The staff are the real stars! So accommodating and lovely to chat with. They made our stay feel like home. Don’t miss eating at Daukos!! The food and service was phenomenal. We will be dreaming of our meals there! There is also a lovely cat, Tito, that we got to hang out with and it really was just the best!

100% worth a stay and visit to the restaurant while in Mendoza!

La Maria hotel is a dream. It’s one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are immaculately designed and have so many fun features. My wife and I stayed in the Arthur Camus and it had a dry sauna and a small plunge hot tub. It even had a nice tub in the room. Breakfast was fantastic every morning , everything is baked fresh and it’s a nice change from being in the states. I highly suggest doing a dinner at their new restaurant Daukos. It’s a great place to stay for wine tasting because it’s a bit of a shorter drive to many wineries than staying in Mendoza. There is also a nice plaza with 3-4 restaurants that are 10 min walking up the road from the hotel. There are only 7 rooms so you feel like you’re the only ones at the hotel which makes it very serene. I looked at many hotels in Mendoza city but I’m so happy I went with La Maria. Couldn’t recommend it more. It’s great value as well. Stay here !!

The best hotel we’ve stayed at! Everything from the staff, setting, location, food - all the small details - our room was really high spec and beautifully clean. Any time we needed anything the staff would respond immediately. We can’t wait to stay again!
