Quite expensive
The hotel was old world lively by the fire
All you could expect from an historic pub from the open fire in the bar, friendly staff, great food and lovely rooms we so enjoyed our stay. A visit to nearby Naseby for a wander and curling topped off a great weekend.
Fantastic location,
What a fantastic place to stay. Remote, beautiful lodge with outstanding staff, food, and facilities.
Staff were fabulous and welcoming. Food very good. Lovely open fire
Very peaceful location. Modernized roon in antique style. Nice not having tv in bedroom. Loved having dessert in the lounge in front of the fire. Felt very homely
The location, the hotel is at the south end of the spectacular Danseys Pass. The hotel is a step back in time, with a great lounge, bar and wonderful food in the restaurant. The bedrooms are spacious and warm. Parking is across the road a few steps from the entrance.
Nothing
I love the historic building, open fireplace, comfortable beds with lovely linen and wonderful hosts. 10/10 highly recommended
Beautiful place
If you’re driving over Danseys Pass, a stay at the Danseys Pass Hotel is an absolute must! It’s a total gem that feels like stepping back in time. The staff are incredibly welcoming, and the food is super delicious. Highly recommended!
Absolutely nothing!
Location was interesting.
Lots of restrictions and lack real of any positive host hospitality.
Guest experience was mainly about what you cant do!
Food was also low quality and very overpriced.
So unique, private and beautiful
Nothing
Authentic coaching inn with lovely ambience
Nothing of note
Not a lot.
Charging 5 star prices for what is in fact 2 to at best 3 star facilities.
Corny signs all about the place making excuses for the facilities and how guests are expected to behave.
Staff that would not have been out of place in a 1940's prison camp.
Severe lack of furnishings within the rooms- not so much as a suitcase shelf- just a bed and a chair and that is it.
Beautiful Hotel set in Danseys Pass. Rooms were clean and comfortable and had a nicely styled vintage bathroom. The converted room to a coffee spot for visitors was a nice touch. The restaurant and bar were excellent vibe and included breakfast was great. Very Friendly staff.
Beautiful hotel perfect for our cycling stop over
Love the location and character
