Amazing staff, historic building, but small and no proper A/C
Pros:

Nice hotel, great staff, lots of history and beautiful decor. Lovely drinks in the evening on the hotel porch.

Cons:

No proper airconditioning, just a small portable A/C, that didn't seem to be up to the task of cooling our room. It was hotter in the room than the hallway, whilst we had the A/C on all day.

Beautiful place to stay! Beautiful view of the lake!
Pros:

OMG! We were lucky enough to spend a few nights at Hotel Royal Luzern - the view of the lake 10/10, the rooms were very clean and the motel had such beautiful charm. The motel is a little far from the city centre, but still walking distance, there is a bus stop 5mins up the road and the free public transport was great. Breakfast was also great!

Cons:

Walking back up the hill from the bus stop 😂 it was also super hot when we stayed, they had a mini portable AC which struggled to work. Although was nice to at least have that

Second stay & perfect again!
Pros:

This is the second time we have stayed here and once again everything was absolutely perfect. The staff are super friendly and cannot do enough for you. The rooms are spotless, we also loved the coffee machine! The view is stunning from the rooms and bar area, it was nice to sit with a drink after a hike. If we are in Luzern again we will be back.

Prima voor 2 nachten maar prijs/kwaliteit matcht niet
Pros:

Prima hotel net buiten het centrum van Luzern. Wel een steile helling om er te komen dus je moet niet slecht ter been zijn. Wij hadden een kamer met uitzicht op het meer maar zaten op de 1e verdieping en keken vooral tegen de daken van andere hotels aan. Fijn dat er koffie en thee was op de kamer.

Cons:

De kamer was echt heel klein en de badkamer ook. Voor 300 euro per nacht verwacht je meer comfort.

Pros:

The location and views of Lake Lucerne is enchanting ! Luxurious property. Extremely comfortable bed and linen. The staff is very helpful and enthusiastic . I will return

Hotel con encanto y romántico
Pros:

Hotel con grandes vistas y alejado de la masificación. Cerca del lago donde te puedes bañar y hay un bonito paseo. En bus en 5 min estás al centro. Desayuno muy bueno.

Cons:

Hay una pequeña subida que tienes que hacerla cada vez que vas al centro y al hotel. Es raro que estos suizos no hayan puesto una escalera mecánica para subir arriba.

Pros:

Old style and the young man at reception and bar was very friendly and efficient !
Breakfast good !

Dated property access and no parking offered and F&B in the evening very poor offering.

Doppelzimmer Deluxe gebucht, Balkonaussicht war traumhaft
Pros:

Wir hatten zwei Balkone … bei der Hitze konnten wir uns dadurch Luftzug machen.
Beim Frühstück gab es eine Nespresso Kaffeemaschine.

Cons:

Kleines Zimmer, ohne Kühlschrank, Badewanne mit Duschvorhang (Altbau)

Great location, clean rooms, and excellent service. We especially appreciated the umbrellas provided on rainy days—they saved our travel plans!

Heerlijk rustige plek voor een kort verblijf
Pros:

Rustig gelegen. Gastvrij ontvangst. Mooie wandelroute richting het oude centrum. Prima kamer met mooi uitzicht op het meer!
