A 10/10 alpine retreat with an incredible spa, gourmet dining, and the perfect breakfast spread.
Pros:

Our stay was nothing short of spectacular. The spa and sauna facilities are world-class—the perfect way to unwind after exploring Beatenberg. We were also incredibly impressed with the dining; the restaurant food was gourmet quality with a great variety, and the breakfast was a standout highlight, offering fresh, high-quality options that exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious, pin-drop quiet, and offered stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Cons:

There was honestly nothing to complain about. The service was seamless and the entire experience was top-tier. The staff was super helpful and made us feel like home.

Leider das schlechteste Hotel, in dem ich je übernachtet habe – es gab absolut nichts Positives.

Cons:

1. Irreführende Bilder online: Die Fotos auf der Website vermitteln einen deutlich besseren Eindruck, als es der Realität entspricht. Das Hotel ist sehr alt und wirkt insgesamt stark heruntergekommen – offenbar wurde seit Jahrzehnten kaum investiert.

2. Zimmer in schlechtem Zustand: Unsere beiden ursprünglichen Zimmer wiesen Schimmelansätze auf. Nach längerem Hin und Her wurden uns zwar neue Zimmer zugewiesen, aber auch diese waren weit entfernt von einem akzeptablen Zustand. Die schimmelbefallenen Zimmer rochen stark muffig und feucht – der Geruch war bei Betreten deutlich spürbar und reizte Augen und Atemwege.

3. Veraltete Ausstattung: Betten, Decken und Kissen sind stark abgenutzt und machen einen unhygienischen Eindruck.

4. Ungeziefer im Zimmer: In den Zimmern fanden sich zahlreiche Insekten wie Spinnen – inklusive Spinnweben und weiteren Verschmutzungen, sowohl in den ursprünglich zugewiesenen als auch in den Ersatz-Zimmern.

5. Schimmel in der Dusche: Die Duschkabinen zeigten deutliche schwarze Schimmelspuren, was sehr unhygienisch und unzumutbar ist.

6. Mangelhaftes Frühstück: Das Frühstück ist inakzeptabel. Die angebotenen Brötchen und Speisen machten den Eindruck, als lägen sie bereits mehrere Tage. Die Stimmung unter den Gästen war entsprechend enttäuscht – von einem genussvollen Start in den Tag kann keine Rede sein.

Fazit:
Auch wenn der Preis auf den ersten Blick attraktiv erscheinen mag, rate ich dringend davon ab, dieses Hotel zu buchen – selbst nicht für eine Nacht. Ich kann die vielen positiven Bewertungen in keiner Weise nachvollziehen und empfehle dringend, eine andere Unterkunft zu wählen.
