Extremely convenient location in Luzern with nice amenities, but contactless check-in was a little frustrating.
Pros:

Great location in the heart of Luzern. Clean and functional with nice small touches, like ear plugs and plenty of coffee. This was the first hotel that had a *cold* refrigerator.

Cons:

The check-in was a little difficult. We couldn’t add everyone to the website, and contacting the property resulted in what seemed like an AI chatbot. The door code initially did not work, and we were lucky that someone was exiting when we arrived.

Wouldn’t stay here again.
Pros:

Location was great. Close to bus stops, bakeries and restaurants.

Cons:

It felt much more like a budget hostel than a historical building. Rooms were musty and the shower head was so tiny that showering took such a long time. Bathroom was absolutely basic with dirty shower curtains.

Clean but A/C completely ineffective in rooftop room
Pros:

Good location. Clear self-check in. Very clean. Bar staff friendly and helpful.

Cons:

NEED TO TELL PEOPLE THE A/C IS INEFFECTIVE IN THE ROOFTOP ROOMS. It was oppressively hot even after running A/C for hours. The A/C does not reach from the hall into the room. There was no option to make it cooler than a certain point. Said fans were available in self service closet but they were not. The room was OPPRESSIVE. We specifically stayed there b/c it had A/C and we might a well have stayed somewhere with no A/C. We don't even like it freezing--just cool enough so we are not sitting there dripping sweat. The person at the bar got us a fan, thank goodness--it helped us get through the night. Bar downstairs not open during stated hours and was always empty. Rooftop room is tiny with no seating area for two people.
