Wonderful hosts! Highly recommend Armando’s wildlife tour! We had a great time!

Armando and Ángela are incredible hosts! I felt welcomed the second I got there.

Rummet kändes helt nytt, otroligt fräscht och fint! Balkong med vask och kylskåp. Fin dusch med bra tryck.
Poolen ligger på andra sidan innergården vilket inte var själklart att se på bilderna. Myclet barn med tanke på att det numera är ett barnfritt hotell, men det störde inte oss då vi själv har barn.
Restaurangen erbjöd den bästa maten vi ätit i Costa Rica. Helt fantastisk service, både vid frukost och middag.

This property was absolutely stunning, we went on a small on property tour with Armando, he showed us poison dart frogs, snakes, birds, lizards and other wildlife just on the property. The view from the balcony in the morning when we woke up was beautiful with the mountain in the background, the room was clean, patio was amazing, air conditioning works perfectly I cannot recommend this place enough.

This place this better than amazing! My husband and I stayed here for 9 days as part of our anniversary trip and Arenal Monara has been the absolute best place we have ever staying in our years of vacationing! Angela and Armando will forever hold a special place in our hearts!

I'll start with the modern, extremely clean and spacious room with a beautiful outdoor balcony that has a stunning view of the Arenal Volcano (when the weather cooperates). The property is nestled in a peaceful corner of the town where your view from the balcony looks out into pure nature. It feels like you have your own piece of paradise but are still in very walkable distance to the main parts of town as well as several delicious restaurants.

Next, the sister hotel next door (Xilopalo) has a great partnership with Arenal Monara and was very helpful in booking several excursions/tours for us during our stay in La Fortuna. We highly recommend the Sloth tour with Armando. He has an amazing eye for spotting sloths. We even saw a baby sloth on our tour!

Finally and most importantly, the gracious hospitality we received from Angela and Armando was extraordinary! There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe how kind they are! Starting with night tour where we saw so many amazing creatures to their willingness to help with any questions or assistance we needed. They honestly made you feel like you were a part of their family. My husband and I will truly miss Angela, Armando and Arenal Monara!

Nice location that was quiet but still a short walk to town. Nice room and a good dining area.

Angela and Armando were wonderful hosts. Angela provided exceptional hospitality, and Armando displayed his remarkable skills in showing us the wildlife around the hotel and La Fortuna area. I would love to stay here again. The rooms are still very new and modern. Best rest I had during my trip to Costa Rica.

After traveling two weeks in Costa Rica this boutique hotel exceeded our expectations! The owners were personable and caring and ensured our stay was amazing. The shared facilities with the neighboring hotel (pool, breakfast area) were among the best we've seen or experienced. The quality of the place itself was wonderful - the attention to detail in this new space showed great love and care. The view of the volcano from our deck (through the clouds) was so cool, and being treated to a free night walk near the property to see frogs and lizards was over the top hospitality. My spouse and I highly recommend!

Potential improvement is to add a water boiler and tea and coffee. There was a fridge which is excellent

En cuanto al parqueo si sería bueno contar con guarda o camaras ya que los carros deben dormir fuera

Muy buen lugar, aseado, muy cómodo. Muy cerca del parque central de la Fortuna cerca de muchos restaurantes y supermercados. La atención de Angela fue excelente.
