Pros:

Amazing setting beautiful sunsets great food/ great staff !!! Access to an Amazing beach can’t say enough about this place fantastic!!!!!

Pros:

The owners and staff were lovely, and worked hard to grant any request. Many birds on the property, plus a nearby howler monkey and some Capuchin monkeys by the beach.

Pros:

Absolutely stunning location in a cabin overlooking the sea. We saw endless amounts of red macaws and other wildlife during our stay. The staff were professional, friendly but not obtrusive. This is a small family- run establishment where we felt customer satisfaction was important.
The restaurant meals were excellent and innovative, the smallness of the restaurant resulted in it often feeling more like a private dining experience. The chef also made an incredible birthday cake for my husband’s birthday which was an unexpected but lovely surprise!
Our only suggestion for improvement would be to offer more choice at both breakfast and dinner. Overall our stay here was the most memorable of all, over a five week trip to Costa Rica, we hope to return one day!

This is a perfect getaway hotel for couples, friends, and even families. The hotel is incredibly well designed and the staff members are extremely thoughtful and accommodating. I had special dietary needs and they were kind enough to cater to that. You must get the full board, it’s so worth it! Every meal we had at the hotel was excellent. The experience we had at this hotel was truly unmatched. It’s private enough to make you feel secluded from the world but close enough to town for other activities. The hotel offers plenty of activities for multiple fitness levels. We did the night hike with a very passionate guide who not only found us rare wildlife but also taught us so much about the wildlife and plants. Would highly recommend this place and would love to go back

Pros:

Everything about Natural Drake Bay was delightful! I can’t wait to return, sit in one of the many outdoor areas, sip a specialty cocktail, take a dip in the pool, watch all the wildlife and then have a delicious and beautifully presented dinner while watching the sun set over the ocean. Patricia and her staff love, respect and care for animals and all the precious natural resources. You won’t want to leave!!
