I would not recommend staying here in its current state.

The hotel is very dated, and to make matters worse it is undergoing major reconstruction. The beautiful views are overshadowed by piles of construction materials, discarded toilets, and what appeared to be unsafe building supplies around the new swimming pool project. It felt much more like staying on a building site than at a hotel.

Even finding the hotel was a nightmare. Signage is extremely limited, and Google Maps directs you to what appears to be the exit rather than the entrance. The parking area is very tight and feels precarious to manoeuvre in. To make matters more confusing, reception is located on a different site, but this was never communicated before arrival. As we were leaving, we noticed one of the hotel’s road signs had been knocked over and was lying broken on the roadside, which explained why finding the entrance was so difficult.

The worst experience was being woken at 5:40 a.m. by a huge truck delivering swimming pool equipment. The truck became stuck outside, with the driver repeatedly revving the engine. After reporting it to reception, nothing happened. I waited around 10 minutes before having to go outside myself. No member of staff came to help, and I ended up shouting to the truck driver to stop. Not a single apology or acknowledgment was offered afterwards.

The décor throughout the hotel is tired, with peeling paint and generally poor-quality maintenance and construction.

The advertised “happy hour” coffee and cookies were also disappointing. We had to remind staff that it was supposed to be provided. When it finally arrived, it consisted of a bucket of weak coffee with powdered creamer and the cheapest local cookies imaginable.

Service was consistently poor. Staff seemed far more interested in sending WhatsApp messages trying to sell excursions and upsell services than dealing with basic guest needs or resolving genuine problems.

The room was a double with balcony, it was one of the cheaper rooms, at the bottom of the resort. Therefore it did not have the great views which came with rooms in the main building, this was expected, we knew this before we booked. However the area around our building was generally unkempt, with building debris, tools, old wood etc left dumped. The water features and ponds were not working, dirty, with a bit of green stagnant water in the bottom and the park itself, especially the bottom part had the feel of a rundown theme park. This could be easily remedied with very little expense, a small clean up team, a weekends work, and by getting rid of the cheap, nasty plastic animals and plastic flowers, they distract from the natural beauty, the area doesn’t need them. If this were done I would review it as 10/10

La vista que nos tocó. La habitación indicaba "VISTA AL OCEANO", y esto no es así, se aprecia parcialmente si te pones en un costado del balcón, esto es un juego de palabras que no es necesario. Para el valor de las habitaciones.

Primer dia en nuestro baño no habia toallas para manos, solicitamos, las trajeron. Al otro dia habia solo una, solicitamos y trajaeron toallas grandes. Y al tercer dia nuevamente no habian toallas pequeñas..... nos aburrimos de pedir, ya que la respuesta no era la mas agradable.

Había poco aparcamiento. Que no tenía piscina.
