Cabinas Las Palmas

The room was fairly basic but comfortable enough - two decent beds, strong fan (needed! no AC), and a fridge. The TV didnt work at all for me. Ok bathroom as well, although one morning there was no water and at the end of my trip the toilet wasn’t flushing either. However, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the location was super central to La Fortuna with easy access to restaurants, the town and excursions, which can also be booked via the reception. If you want to get a fulfilling tourist experience of Costa Rica while saving some money, I would recommend

Unfriendly staff

The man in charge of welcoming people doesn't seems to like his job. We're just another number. The room is just ok...dark green walls that look dirty and need repainting. Only a very thin sheet to cover yourself with. Absolutely NO space to put your luggage on and NO hooks to hang your clothes. NO chair in the room. Bad pillows.
Nice clean bathroom and centrally located

The upside of this property is that it was available, convenientmy situated in the heart of the city near a couple of sodas, a grocery store, and coffee shops. Can't beat the location and price! My staff interaction were pretty straightforward. Easy check-in and out.

The beds and pillows were super comfy! The hotel room is truly just a room! A room with beds, a TV on a stand, and a barstool. Not a place to get comfy in if you're on an extended stay and are used to hotels similar to Hampton Inn and up! This is more like a Red Roof Inn. Suitable...but not exactly where you want to stay for more than a night or two.

My biggest gripe is there is no AC unit! Only a circulatory fan attack to the wall above the beds. It was hot in that tiny room. Kept my window open and door cracked while I was in my room. Tried to find creative ways to keep the door and window open without completely sacrificing security while I slept!

Property is very well located. Walkable distance to supermarket and restaurants. Parking on site and friendly staff.
