Pros:

The place is very comfortable. and it is located near the Transnational TicaBus. That was the main reason we decided to book at Del Cafetal CR.
But we found the rooms are very comfy and they have a kitchen you can use. So you can store and heat any food you may have bought earlier or later on your arrival.
Also, there not so much traffic near the hostel so you do not have to worry about it.
The only thing they do not have a parking lot. You have to buy parking in the Public Parking Lots of the city. BTW, they are very expensive. So, if you do not want to pay for parking lots please look for a place that offers free parking.

Pros:

Located on a high traffic & building is shaking all the time. Very UNSAFE NEIGHBORHOOD. Dozens of construction code violations; stairs (top 3 steps) leading to upstairs dangerous. My room & another's didn't have windows to outside. Fan stayed on only for 2 hrs making sleep difficult.
