Casa Nahua Hotel in Tamarindo

Nice property with a great little pool and room has all the space you need. Walking distance from beach and downtown area. Staff were friendly.

i loved staying in this hotel , everyone were very nica and welcoming, the pool is great !
we didnt had a lot of hot water but its not a big deal. the location is great , Mera was wonderful and helpful. you have monkeys on the trees !

Zentral gelegen und kleiner Pool in Innenhof. Die Bars der Umgebung sind ganz nett. Andererseits hört man auch die Feiernden bis nachts um 2:00 Uhr johlen und singen. Störend ist aushaltbar.

The Casa Nahua is a little gem in Tamarindo. The room was fairly small, but clean and arranged sensibly. The bathroom was definitely recently updated and had a modern feel. Nice shower with shampoo and conditioner, both! And shower gel. The room has a smart TV so you can watch whatever streaming services you want to.

The only downside to the room was that the fridge did not seal fully so it didn't cool its contents as well as it should have and we had to buy ice at the very nearby grocery store.

The property is built into a hill and has so many trees, bushes, and flowers. It is so lush, especially around the pool area. Pool was very pleasant, and available night and day. We saw monkeys on the trees of the property twice!

The best feature of the hotel is the very friendly staff. We were welcomed so warmly and by name when we arrived., The employee (Mere - I am not sure how to spell it) was really helpful with all of our questions and requests. Everyone else on staff were equally helpful and pleasant.

The people there are so incredibly kind and hospitable. The location was perfect. The pool was so beautiful.

The owber went on vacation and the son ran ir while she was away. Too many locals in the pool and cleanliness nose dived.

This place is disgusting and the owners are crooks. STAY AWAY!!!! Our room had bed bugs and cockroaches in the beds. Due to the bed bugs we left as soon as we could secure accommodation for our family of 6. We were forced to stay one night as no other hotels were available.our kids were covered in bed bug bites the next morning. The owners refused to refund us. They were rude and condescending. DO NOT BOOK HERE

Overall a great stay. Excellent location with all amenities super close by. Easy parking included and a nice pool area. Rooms were very quiet with a very safe feel. There are no amenities with the room, but if you are looking for a room and quiet pool area it is perfect. I liked being off of the main beach yet close to it. Would recommend if you are not looking for a full service resort. We would stay again!

The safe was not secured . The bathroom shower flooded the floor and getting my belongings wet. Outside garbage was filled dogs and cats eating the garbage. Checked out the next morning. Would like my refund .

This is a wonderful property to stay at while visiting Tamarindo. It’s a block from the main strip and the beach. It’s set back away from the road so quiet at night. The owner and her staff are very attentive and inquire if one’s needs are being met daily. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Tamarindo.

Merary at Casa Nahua was amazing. Right when my friend and I checked she was so friendly and understood that we wanted to do excursions. Merary set us up with awesome jam packed fun trips that were unforgettable. Merary was also so friendly, kind, sweet and professional and made us feel at home. I highly recommend staying at Casa Nahua.

Bathroom had a stench, beds were springy, and no lights on the paths to walk around the property at night.
Parking is a rocky dirt patch

Lovely stay, just what we wanted. We were surprised by the wildlife we saw just hanging by the pool! Very conveniently located next to a grocery store and multiple restaurant/bars - everything is very walkable

The property was fantastic. Quiet and relaxing with an awesome pool. Check in wss very easy and staff was very friendly. Location is very convenient as it is next to a supermarker and walking distance to the beach. Rooms were clean and well maintained. We even got some monkeys around the area which added to the ambience.

Sadly our car was robbed when we were checking in.
DO NOT LEAVE anything in your car to view. I saw multiple smashed car windows around Taramindo.
The hotel was great and checked the cameras and showed me exactly what happened. So sad

Very nice hosts. Pool is nice and clean. Room was clean and cozy. We enjoyed seeing the howler monkeys in the trees. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Tamarindo is very busy, loud and a party atmosphere. Beaches could be cleaner. Great place to learn to surf or watch surfing.
