Beautiful, lacks in customer service
Pros:

This place is picturesque and has potential, but the staff was inattentive and seemed bothered when we asked for anything. We had to search the grounds for someone to come to check us in. The bartender wasn’t around for at least the first 20 mins of happy hour. We were told a lot of things were not done properly (room cleaning) or not working (hot tub) b/c of electricity issues (to be fair, it is rainy season and there were thunderstorms each night and it sounds like they were working off generator power). The restaurant was good, but wasn’t advertised as plant-based when booking. Our waitress the first night was great, but the second night we got someone else who wasn’t very present. Free Friday AM yoga was a nice touch. If they could staff this place with workers who were actually present, more inviting, and willing to accommodate, it would be off the charts in reviews!

Literally off the beaten path…
Pros:

The drive off the main road had us rethinking our resort selection. The road was harrowing and a 4x4 would have been a good idea. However once we were there, it was truly paradise. Gorgeous property and grounds, clean, comfortable and quiet, friendly staff, and delicious vegan food. It is truly a small oasis, with fabulous views of the whale’s tail and beautiful sunsets.

Beautiful facility with excellent staff. Very professional. Unbelievable grounds and gardens. Bali suite was huge with outdoor shower and tub. Comfortable king size bed , great linens. Ocean and garden view. Very well appointed.one of best rooms in 40 years of travel
