Pros:

Come here evey year as we are a large booking that can accommodate us all.

Cons:

Been here a few times had a large booking with friends had booked a twin by mistake...was told by the guy at reception when we asked to get a double..."well were a bit busy"....yes we know we were part of that group booking....wasn't offered a swap with single guests that were given a double room as part of oyr party and was then told the last room left we would have to pay extra....not happy as we go there every year. The room was freezing as well the corridors were warmer than our room

Good hotel for the price.
Pros:

Great location. Only a few minutes walk from winter gardens and the main promenade.
Staff very friendly and attentive, checking in and out very easy and the carpark round the corner for £12 was very reasonable, kept the car there from 4pm Saturday till 9pm Sunday.
Bed was very comfortable and clean

Cons:

Could do with a lick of paint here and there.
The creaking floorboards are loud and annoying, especially when guests walk past or on the floor above.
The stairs and doors could do with being better labeled.
There was a peculiar large stain on the carpet by the door was a bit off putting..

A really pleasing couple of days
Pros:

Lovely staff. Really helpful too . Breakfast was plentiful and hot. There is a well stocked bar and reasonably priced drinks. The hotel is centrally located and a short walk from everything.

Cons:

Tired decor. No soap or smellies in the bathroom. The secure parking is a really good thing but it's a walk away from the hotel. The window handle in the room was broken. The window still opened, it just looked a bit off.

Felt like I had my pants pulled down and got soanked grr
Pros:

Location

Cons:

Parking charge of 12pound a night x4
Pointed out that hotel website said max 20 pound manager told me as I not booked direct tough
Public car park next door was 29 pound they could of said
Then in lift seen sign that said 4th night of direct booking only 1pound
Free I booked an extra night on arrival
Seems they want people cancel bookings then rebook direct manager was appalling in his dealings with me
