The room was great and the staff were very accommodating for our 7 o clock arrival

Cons:

It wasn't mentioned that the bar and dining room was closed for renovations at the time and we were looking forward to a drink at the end of the day but otherwise everything was great

A great venue for a reunion if comfort and easy access to the beautiful surroundings required.
Pros:

Glasses provided for consuming one’s own alcohol in a cosy room with an open fire whilst talking and playing games with friends. Large coffee table and comfortable seats.

Cons:

The weather but I won’t hold it against them

Pros:

Friendly and welcoming staff. Beautiful unique hotel, surrounded by a stunning landscape. Comfortable room and reception rooms. Delicious breakfast, would highly recommend.

Cons:

If the hotel had it's own restaurant and bar it would be great, however, the Old Barn across the way was a lovely place to eat.

Pros:

The hotel was stunning, room was very nice, en suite was incredible, smart TV was an unexpected but great touch! Had a lovely view of the garden. Self check in was smooth and easy. It was so peaceful and quiet!

Cons:

The closest pubs in the local area were seemingly all shut unfortunately on a Tuesday

Pros:

Location & last minute availability was good. Room layout was a little odd. Two single beds top to toe with a table in-between. Furnishing & bed comfort was good. Quite expensive for what we had especially as breakfast wasn't included.

Cons:

Bathroom WC didn't flush properly. It wasn't clear if there was a downstairs option to use either. Door to bathroom didn't really shut/lock easily not that it was an issue for us but it's an observation. Breakfast wasn't clear. We paid for cooked but there was continental on the side & we weren't sure if we were allowed fruit juice or not or if continental would have been included in the price.

Great hotel for the hay festival.
Pros:

We stayed at three cocks to attend the hay festival. It was a great location for this. The lady on reception was so friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautifully decorated. It’s good to note there wasn’t food/drink available in the evening but this didn’t bother us as we were out and about. The lounge room had a record player and games which we enjoyed when we got back in the evening. They served a lovely cooked breakfast, which you order the night before. All in all a comfortable and friendly place. We would happily stay again.
