Volcano Union Inn and Pub

Chef Erik deserves a raise! He is working some long days, always with a smile on his face. We came here for rest, the quiet, and relaxation, and that is exactly what we got, plus more. His food is absolutely outstanding and the only thing we were disappointed about is that we got way too full so we couldn’t keep enjoying his phenomenal food. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful! Highly recommend! We will definitely be making a return trip!

The staff is extremely friendly, exceptional service, and the food is amazing! The bed is the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in at a hotel. The room is totally charming. We will absolutely be back.

The staff here is so welcoming and accommodating!! The room was so clean and the entire area is so quiet and quant. We were staying in a room above the dining room and had no issues with the noise level or anything from the guests enjoying dinner. Staff was all so kind, 10/10

I can't say enough good things about this B and B. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. We had dinner and breakfast. The dinner was excellent. But is was the breakfast that stood out for us. I am vegan and the chef prepared a special meal for me (vegan pancakes) that was truly delicious. They clearly care about providing great service and making one's stay memorable and we felt that to be the case.

just a fun, funky little town - the union hotel goes way back - would love to have seen it in its hey day! and if you can get a room (only 2 of 4) with direct balcony access even better (but you can access the balcony from the hallway for the other 2 rooms) - homemade breakfast (you get a selection) is - well - special - as is the super cool lady who does it all: hostess, waitress, busser - and most importantly - *chef*!! she's remarkable! want to go back on a friday to experience some of their other menu offerings (only serving friday - monday) and take in one of their local theatre productions...a truly great experience!

The Volcano Union Inn is a fantastic little bed and breakfast. The food at the restaurant is wonderful and the little historical town is a gem.
The only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 stars is because the pillows were not comfortable.

We looovvved our stay at Volcano Union Inn. What a special, lovely place. Historic, quaint (but not overly so), beautifully restored. Excellent restaurant and pub. Absolutely delicious made to order breakfast. We will be back!

Stayed here on a Thursday - Saturday with my partner. I must say this place is nestled in a tiny town called Volcano. Although there might not be too much to do there, there are places that are driveable. From the check in until the check out, it was very easy and accessible. All rooms are located upstairs and there is a flight of stairs you need to use. (Not really disabled friendly); Our room (Terra Cota), was very clean and well maintained. Others would think that the room would be outdated...but that's not the case! The room goes with the rustic outdoorsy feeling. The only issue i came into was the shower; eventhough the tub was big, the shower curtain wraps around the inside of the tub; every twist and turn, the curtain would stick to my skin which gets annoying. The king size bed was very very comfy. Hadnt slept that good in weeks! Did I mention, breakfast was included each morning! Delicious is all I can say. Eventhough, the bar/pub was downstairs, I didn't come across alot of loud noise so that's good. Overall, would definitely come back.

Everything was lovely from the room, to our cocktails and food. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. A wonderful stay! Never been yo Volcano before but we will be back! Such a cute town. Next time we will have to do the walking tour.!

Great weekend get away. Hotel is under renovation, so we stayed in the cottages. they were clean and cozy
