The Climbers Inn

We arrived late but the bartender was very kind about checking us in and making sure we had some food. I really appreciate that he went above and beyond.

Well located to access hikes in the Reeks. Lively bar and friendly staff

The rooms were reasonably clean and comfortable. The bar had really good food for dinner. Breakfast was also good.

This property consists of a few rooms above a pub. The rooms and generally clean, cozy and fairly quiet. A good option to stay in the area for the night

Sauberkeit war eher so naja. Das Zimmer und Bad waren dreckig und rochen seltsam.

Die Fassade der Unterkunft erinnert an eine Absteige oder heruntergekommene Bar.

Frühstück war für den Preis eine Frechheit. Es gab Toast, Obstsalat und Butter. Dazu noch eine Sorte aufgeschnittenen Käse und ungenießbarer Schinken. Wer mehr möchte muss 10€ p.P. zuzahlen und bekommt ein schlecht schmeckendes englisches Frühstück.

Diese Eindrücke wurden von allen anderen Gästen bestätigt.

Für 200 Euro pro Nacht definitiv nicht wert.

We were a group of 8 who arrived late and left early. We used a variety of different rooms (dorm, 2 person rooms, apartment) and it was all good - a very welcome night's sleep after 2 days in the bus.
Was also great to be able to use the kitchen for simple things (boiling water / making toast) outside of normal meal hours.

The climbers inn is nicely located. My room had a few problems shower not working properly & TV had no volume for some reason and after trying unsuccessfully for a night decided wasn't worth the stress of button pressing. Breakfast is very prompt need to be in at 8:30 to fet a cooked one.

I spent a night at the Climbers Inn (in the dormitory) while walking the Kerry Way. I had a great time there. I met some nice and interesting people. The food i had for diner for great. And I really enjoy the breakfast in the morning before going to the next part of my hike.

Awesome out of the way place. Perfect for my wife and I.

The pub had some of the friendliest people around. Shared the true Irish experience with us. What a blast.

Just the essentials. A no frills experience.

Uniqueness and location. Convenience of the pub in the first floor was nice after hours of sightseeing. Used it as a hub for the ring of Kerry.

estancia muy agradable con todo lo necesario para pasar una noche en ruta. La chica que nos atendió y nos enseño la habitacion hablaba algo de español y fue muy agradable con nosotros. El alojamiento dispone de taberna donde tomar algo en un entorno realmente acogedor, muy irlandes. El desayuno bien. Muy recomendable aunque algo retirado. Repetiríamos sin duda.
