One of my favorites in Santo Domingo.
Pros:

We have stayed at this hotel many times. It is colonial style architecture, built around an open courtyard with lots of green plants and well placed terraces with tables and chairs. The 4th floor pool is small & in a separate, quiet area. Very clean, sparkling water. Location is perfect when staying in the Old City, just two blocks from the plaza, with its ancient ficus trees, numerous pigeons and restaurants. A great place to people watch and catch performances from the talented street performers. A good full breakfast is included and prices are reasonable, starting in the $80’s, plus tax. I’ll keep coming back to this fine little hotel.

Pros:

We had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The hotel is immaculate. Keeps the place very clean good air conditioning. Bed is comfortable. Great place to sleep and go explore the island. We enjoyed our 3 day stay there. TV is not available unless you have an account with Neflix , Hulu or other provider. Friendly and resourceful staff.
