Room felt a bit claustrophobic as no natural light but very clean. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great!
From the moment we arrived til the time we left all staff we met made a big positive impact with our stay. Check in, bar, dining and service staff were great. As we are on an extended trip of 3 months staff changed our room to thd lower floor so we didn't have to lug our suitcases upstairs. We had a lunch and a dinner and both were wonderful and well priced.
Enjoyed a 2 night break in a double room. Hotel is being refurbished, our room was completed, very comfy and great size for 2 people. Good choice of food for breakfast. Staff are all excellent.
Stayed here overnight on a road trip. Lovey room with thoughtful touches. Breakfast was wonderful with many options and some continental add ons included.
The staff were very helpful. The food was excellent. The shower was lovely. The room itself was v dark, outdated decor, dark patterned carpet. There was no aircon but a fan was provided. There was a lot of noise throughout the night from maybe an outside vent? Kildare is a lovely town and of course, right beside Kildare Village. It was a comfortable bed, but hard to sleep due to the noise.maybe would stay again, but in a different room.
Conveniently located
Staff exceptional, helpful and Soul bar great would recommend
It was an acceptable hotel quite acceptable. Food good. Excellent breakfast with good service
Was able to check in early and were given a room on the 2nd floor when we asked for one above ground level
Ground floor accommodation and comfortable for disabled
Lovely hotel lovely staff all areas are lovely from bar/restraunt/reception
I wanted a base for a weekend of touring in Ireland. Dublin is ridiculously expensive. Kildare is well located, especially for the railway, which is walking distance or just five minutes by car from the hotel.
Restaurant was good - they had meals with vegetables and added additional vegetables at my request for no charge.
My booking included breakfast, they were happy to cook me a bespoke breakfast, as the full Irish breakfast was ridiculously large.
Midweek break away for a few days
An amazing stay. Couldn’t be happier with the hotel and staff.
Hotel staff were fabulous and couldn’t have been more friendly.however the beds weren’t comfortable
A clean hotel so close to city centre, easy parking. Would just like to see mats in showers.
Nice older renovated hotel. We did not have time to enjoy restaurant. Friendly staff
The staff made our stay excellent, they were all just so friendly and nice. They wasn’t over the top they were just genuine and real. This was from check in to the cleaning ladies to the staff at breakfast and the staff in soul, everyone was great. The hotel itself was great, lovely room, very clean and in a great spot in town. The breakfast was superb and we ate one night in Soul which we loved the laid back vibe and that they cater for everyone with families and young and old in there in a great atmosphere.
I hope some time in the future we will be back
The Front Desk was very sweet and helpful. Room is nice however walls are very thin so if you plan on sleeping, you might want to bring earplugs. Regarding the restaurant: unfortunately the food was not that good very bland and cold for the amount paid. The service at the restaurant was not that good either. Would stay again with earplugs but I wouldn't eat at the restaurant
A great place close to the centre. Staff are friendly and jolly to be around.
