The property was absolutely gorgeous and the rooms were beautiful, clean, and comfortable
Nice rooms, very clean. Love the common area with tables , fridge and microwave. It gave our group of six to meet up
The rooms and property grounds were spectacular. Housekeeping threw our breakfast out from the shared fridge before checkout but the front desk staff made up for it by providing some fruit from their fridge as replacements. The check in desk was very difficult to find perhaps due to GPS but we will stay again if back in the area as it exceeded expectations.
It was a nice get way trip from busy tourists area. We loved it.
The checking in process was kind of quick, we checked in a reception, but we're told the building of the castle we were staying at was in a different parking lot. Room was large, a king and twin bed took up the room, Looked out on a walled garden.
Advertised as perfect for romantic breaks... definitely not. This is a golf resort and probably excellent for that in certain aspects. The castle itself is not in use which is a pity. The accommodation consists of houses with 4 bedrooms and a common area. There is a kitchen but just a microwave and some cutlery, cups etc. No hob to cook and the fridge has no freezer so no ice! Self catering as such but you can't do much with it and a shared fridge etc, ok if you and others rent the entire house.
2-3 minute walk through a courtyard to the clubhouse with gravel/slippy rock path which was awkward for my wife in heels especially in the rain. The menu was pricey and doesn't change and the atmosphere was non existent. We cancelled the next evening's meal and dined elsewhere. The reception was supposed to be open til 11pm but was closed when we left at 9.45.
Overall it was very disappointing and as a couple it was not ideal at all. If you want to play a round of golf and get a bite to eat afterwards it would be great I'm sure.
Great place to run. Good food and excellent hospitality
This property was very clean and quiet. The balcony revealed goegeous views of the grounds. (Seats would be nice so you could be able to sit outside though). The staff was very friendly. I would stay here again without hesitation
Location was great. Close to town. Room was huge and super clean. Outdoor area was awesome to walk about on.
It’s was a good spot but just far from everything you will find attractive and uber is very expensive
