Humidité !!!! Malgré que j'ai essayé de changer la chambre mais rien n'est changé ça pue beaucoup
Literally less than 10 min walk from the clock towers, which was super nice. Not the nicest Hotel, but it did the job, got in showered or slept and went right back to prayers.
It takes u only 5 min walking to maszid al haram bob salam gate and zamzam water main place..
Actually, My staying was good.
Good and cooperative staff
Nice lobby and good hospitality but very cramp damp rooms and toilet had no proper supplies
Good , Very close to haram
I stayed there with my family and I was satisfied with my stay at Barakah hotel. Our rooms were clean and stocked with amenities. High speed WiFi available on premises. There are plenty of food options around there.
As the hotel is close to Haram, you can offer prayer in the hotel lobby if you are unable to reach to the Haram on time. It was very important for my parents to pray Fajar prayer in congregation from their hotel lobby.
The hotel is walking distance from Haram but it's slightly uphill which is difficult for older people to walk. My parents used to go to Haram and stay there for consecutive prayers.
One complaint I have is that there is no Adhan sound in the hotel rooms and you don't get to know prayer time if you haven't set an alert on your phone.
Overall, I am very happy with my stay and it is highly recommended.
Do not expect much paying little for this property. Basic amenities are met; working fridge, aircon, hot water. Room is fairly clean, cleaners did a good job cleaning the room. The room is small, but it does the job. Very close to the haram, about 10m walk. Small hotel, so waiting for the lift/elevator is not long. However the hotel needs to address the following issue- air con, wall clock, and tv remote is not working. Most hotels at this price do not provide iron & ironing board. So do take note. Do your laundry at safwa towers laundry mat
Good
disgusting hotel, first time i ever had to book another hotel while i was traveling.
Staff was incompetent, hotel was disgustingly dirty
I wouldn't suggest this property to anyone.
Hotel is walking distance from the Haram but hotel condition was an average. Customer service was good. It would be nice to have a safety box in the room to secure your documents.
.
My husband and I found it to be a no-hassle hotel. Everyone was very friendly. Hotel room was clean. The showers are small and toilet doesnt flush well but overall we had a good stay.
Excellent reception staff.
Good location, approx 5 mins walk to Al Haram.
Near the ramp Bridge to enter the first floor.
However, aside from lobby area, the rooms are old and bathrooms is dated.
It was clean, but not worth the price I paid.
Very smelly hall (like sewage) + room
Soggy matress in awkward position beds
Wifi doesnt reach the higher floors
Very loud halls.. there is a big room next to us that staff use and they were loud for over half an hour in the morning which woke us up
Only good thing is the good location + friendly staff
I would not recommend it if you're travelling with family because they don't provide any service apart from providing the room which was so tiny not very clean.
What positive things can I say? It was located on the front strip in front of the Grand Mosque - about a 20 minute walk away (could be worse, and I couldn't find anything closer at this price point). Felt safe in the hotel and its surroundings. Around the hotel are numerous food stalls and food courts for take out food (limited seating at some places). The front desk check in person was pleasant and was able to tell us how much a taxi would cost to go out to Mt. Arafat and Mina.
Other than that, there isn't a lot of positive to say. The room was extremely small. The two single beds were smaller than expected - mine was OK, but my husband's was not very comfortable. The walls had stains on them where food hadn't made it into the trash can and though it was cleaned off, it wasn't cleaned well. The small bathroom was a "wet" bathroom where the shower was not contained in the extremely small pan where the water was meant to flow. There was a sewer smell from the drain in the bathroom. The people at a concierge stand could not help us get a taxi or answer any other questions that we had because we did not speak Arabic. The hotel caters mostly to groups.
Never stay at this hotel ever again.
