Aerotel Jeddah - Transit Hotel in Terminal 1

We had no problems or issues with the hotel. The staff were very helpful and seemed anxious to serve their guests.

Very close to Gates. Fast check-in and very comfortable room.

A comfortable and very clean hotel easy to find....but.....no windows.its claustrophobic

It was a decent hotel, no windows because it's inside the airport. Very convenient for long layovers but the man at check in was so rude. First, he wasn't there and I asked the other man who ran the lounge at the same site when he would be back. I got fuzzy answers such as "soon". When he didn't get back soon soon I got frustrated and demanded to know where he was and when he would be there. The man finally walked across the lobby to a windowless office and knocked on the door repeatedly. The man who was supposed to be at reception was inside doing who knows what, but not his job. He was mad that he was disturbed and was extremely rude to me. He wanted to turn me a way for an additional 2 hours, which was ridiculous because I was only staying in the hotel for about 8 hours. He was very difficult to work with and extremely grumpy. He also mislabeled my key card deposit. The people in the morning at the desk were much more responsive and friendly even though they had a difficult time finding my keycard deposit because it had been mislabeled by the man the night before. Because I had such a difficult time with the first man, I thought about giving this a one-star review, but the hotel was nice enough and it was super convenient for a long layover.

Pretty expensive but so comfortable for a long layover! Took some time to check in but the room was clean and the bed was comfy

Attention Aerotel affiché sur hôtel.com qu'on peut rester dans la chambre pendant 24 heures .Quand vous arrivez sur place vous découvrez que ce n' est pas vrai et que vous pouvez rester dans la chambres maximum 6 heures !!!, si vous voulez rester plus il faut payer pour 6 heures supplémentaires !.Cette information mensongere est honteuse ,

The main point to keep in mind is that the hotel is airside. To be fair they do highlight this in their description.
My flight was at 8 am and I wanted to use the hotel before the flight and would have paid a little more for 8 hours instead of 6 if allowed. However once at the airport, I was told that I could not cross the barriers where you scan your boarding pass before 6 hours prior to the flight (this varies from airport to airport. This is for Jeddah). I was however able to scan in around 12:45, i.e a bit over 7 hours. So I managed to get immigration and security done and make use of the 6 hours I had paid for. Just about. It helped that I had a boarding pass from online check in and no checked in luggage. If you are having to check in at the counter it could be more complicated. If you are already in transit in the airside area, it is not a problem.
The hotel itself is sparkling, just beside terminal 1 gates and very well maintained. It is pretty big and in the early morning, I did get a bit lost as I got out of my room and couldn't remember which side I came in from! A bit more of signage towards the stairs/lifts would have helped. In the night a member of staff accompanied me to the room, so I admittedly did not pay so much attention to the directions from the desk.
It was convenient to get solid sleep just before the flight. Going straight into a landside hotel but getting up 3 hours early versus waiting to get in through gates and then sleeping, your choice.

Good short stay to take shower and nap

Wir haben auf der Hin- und Rückreise „die Nacht dort verbracht".
Beim ersten Aufenthalt mussten wir mehr bezahlen, als den bei der Buchung abgeschlossenen Betrag. Und mit Tax hatte das nichts zu tun.
Zurück hatten wir über Hotels.com gebucht, dabei war ganz klar ersichtlich, dass der Zeitraum 2 PM bis 2 PM gebucht war, wie uns das Portal auch später bestätigte. Nach Check-in um 23:30 wurden wir dann jedoch um 04:30 SEHR NACHDRÜCKLICH geweckt mit dem Hinweis, wir hätten nun das Hotel zu verlassen.
Bis 06:30 haben wir dann über Hotels.com chatten müssen, am Ende wurde uns sehr gut geholfen, und wir wurden vonseiten des Buchungsportals entschädigt. Aber die Nacht war natürlich durch das Hotel zerstört.

Super-convenient location, but the staff really needs to be trained on how to be courteous--their attitude is truly appalling. Also, hijacking the boarding pass until the key is returned is a really petty and insulting thing to do. As for the room, it did not have a desk chair and there was a big stain on the bed cover. The price is not justified for the facilities and staff; it's just very convenient for transfers.

In linea di massima la struttura va bene, è molto comoda.
La stanza che ci hanno dato era molto rumorosa si sentiva un rumore fastidioso forse dagli impianti cosa che non mi ha permesso di riposare bene.
Il personale della reception molto lento e poco cordiale.

Ça fait du bien de dormir à l’hôtel lors d’une longue escale. C’est juste malheureux que hotel.com te dit jusque 14h mais qu’on te demande de quitter à 6h30 du matin …

Eine halbe Stunde in der Schlange stehen bis zum Einchecken. Um 5 Uhr morgens und um 6 Uhr morgens wurde wie verrückt an der Tür geklopft und uns geweckt, obwohl wir Check out um 14 Uhr hatten. Ansonsten angenehm bei Transit Aufenthalt ein Zimmer zu haben.

Je n'ai pas pu profiter de ma nuit, pourtant payée, car je n'ai pas pu accéder à cet hôtel.
En effet, faites bien attention car l'information est (volontairement ?) cachée sur le site hotels.com, mais cet établissement n'est accessible qu'aux voyageurs munis de billet pour une destination à l'international, pas pour un vol interne !!!!
Ne vous faites pas avoir car sinon, vous n'avez plus qu'à pleurer, hotels.com et l'hôtel lui même (si commerçants qu'ils sont) refuseront de vous rendre votre argent !!!!

Coda interminabile al check in.Trattengono la carta di imbarco come cauzione anche se la camera è già pagata. Camera sporca, lenzuola macchiate , bagno pessimo. Un incubo.

It would have been a 5 star rating had the check-in process been smoother. Check-in took forever and it was slow. Other than that, room is very nice and clean for a quick 6 hour stay. It’s essentially in the duty free area so we can get water and snacks easily.

Amazing experience as had a 7 hour stay at Jeddah airport and needed a place to rest ...
