The picture of the building online doesn't match the actual one.
When we arrived at the hotel we headed straight to the hotel we saw the picture online then on checking in we were told it's the 2nd building

We had a very pleasant stay at Grand Plaza Madinah. Although we were transferred to Badr Maqam, the entire experience was very smooth and the service was consistently very good. The staff were accommodating and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. They even allowed us to extend our checkout time since our flight was late at night
A special thank you to Umar Faruk, the housekeeper on the 12th floor, who was incredibly kind, generous, and attentive. He always welcomed us warmly and even offered us water whenever we returned , such a thoughtful gesture that really touched us. We’d also like to mention Arafat, the bellboy, for being friendly and helpful with our luggage, and Hamada at the reception for assisting us whenever we needed help. Overall, a great experience.

House keeping was just excellent....room 1006...forgot the supervisor name....maybe Mr cassim.They were really polite very helpful and reliable
Had to wait for 50 minutes for a lift on the first day.Main problem there is only 3 elevators working....same issue everyday....have to wait 10 to 15 minutes for elevator.They are really small also and most of the time crowded.Very very bad experience with the elevator.
Also have to recharge the door keys everyday. This is also a negative issue...had to go everyday 3 to 4 times at the reception to recharge the door keys as it is one use only.

The lift just before or after Salaat was almost impossible to take and we used the stairs from the 10th floor to the lobby
Location and amenities were ideally close, great walkability, value for money. Very cooperative and forthcoming Overall staff, especially the house keeping team led by Mr Qasim was exceptional.
The elevator system was under upgrade so it was a bit of a wait up scenario.

Staff came to the room to ask us to leave the room, immediately after checking in they thought us the previous customer !!! They thought that we didn't do checkin and we should go again to the reception to resign. (First time in a hotel to do double check in )

Mr Shamim is trying to help but the number of rooms is disproportionate to the number of lifts.
My family are blaming me because I chose this hostel we gave it -1 of 10
I paid 1108 Saudi Riyals 300 $ for one night
It is losing money if you stay this hostel
Housekeeping did an excellent job, especially the team leader, Mr. Qasim, and his subordinates, Mr. Parvaiz and Mr. Saqib. All of them were very cooperative and professional.

Smell of the room as the ventilation was connected with the kitchen ventilation, as if you are sleeping in the kitchen
