Starlight Hotel

Friendly staff. Easy check in. Not prepared for our room. Limited kitchen items. Very limited breakfast items.

Room was moldy and dirty. Stuff smeared on the walls. Very damp and dank in the room. Loud hallway. Asked for the room to be cleaned and all they did was change the sheets. No ice, no fridge, no microwave. Breakfast was very very limited.

Would stay here again

Clean room but super small. Included a breakfast that was minimal but okay. Very noisy from traffic and proximity to airport but overall acceptable and reasonably priced.

The stay was comfortable, but the room was only prepared for two guests even though our booking was for four. We had to ask for extra blankets, pillows, and toiletries, and there was no kitchen paper towel provided. The shower glass door was also loose and kept opening on its own. Aside from these minor issues, we had a cozy stay.

Booked two rooms for two days. Was convenient to stay at for US Open. Staff was polite, hotel is dated.

The hotel was very comfortable, clean, safe location, walkable to metro station.

The stay was short but pleasant. The hotel staff was spectacular, especially David at the desk, who was very friendly and helpful. The location is full of culture and friendly people. There's a mall next door with many shops to cover all kinds of needs. They have snacks on the rooftop and ice on the second floor. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Easy parking at mall across street, friendly easy check in. Room was clean and comfortable and large and quiet. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

The location of the hotel was in a convenient area to public transportation and shopping. The room itself was fine but too close to other rooms. The elevator was small and slow.

Stayed here to get to a show at Forest Hills! Super affordable, comfy bedding, room was clean and easy. Local restaurants really great, near a shopping center if you forget necessities. We clogged the toilet because you’re not supposed to flush the toilet paper, and they sent someone up very quickly to fix (but would have been good to let guests know at check in that toilet paper can’t go be flushed, a sign or note at check-in maybe on the document they give you). Would stay again, thank you!
