一人旅で英語も不自由でしたが、スタッフが日本語を話せるので安心でした。部屋は清潔で明るく、熱いシャワーが時間を問わず使えました。通りに面してはいましたが特に騒がしいことはなくよく眠れました。ラムさんはじめ皆さんが笑顔で何かと声をかけてくれたり、いつでもお茶を出してくれたりまるで家にいるかのようでした。最終日、所持金が少なくなり困っていると、インドライブでタクシーを安く手配して下さり無事空港に行けました。また水筒に熱いお茶も持たせてくれました。

スタッフの方がみんな笑顔で声をかけてくれて嬉しかった。朝ごはんも、もっと食べる？と気にかけてくれてとても親切。日本語を話すスタッフが数名います。部屋も清潔で、お湯もしっかり出るので安心です！

I moved to Ananta House after a disappointing first hotel and it ended up being the best value for money I found in Kathmandu.

It’s simple but really clean and comfortable, with all the essentials like coffee, toiletries, and a good breakfast. The staff were friendly and the whole place felt calm and easy.

Nothing fancy, but everything worked — and as a solo female traveller, I felt safe and comfortable throughout. I’d definitely stay again.

Stayed at the top floor and had a breakfast with an amazing view!

The room looked exactly like the pictures (that was actually a first in Nepal). It was clean, fully equipped with mini fridge and AC. The bed was comfy, sheets were clean and the bathroom had hot water. We had a small balcony giving to the back court so noise wasn’t an issue although hotel was located on a dead end street anyway. The staff was also really nice and helpful.

I appreciated the flexibility at Ananta Home—my flight was canceled, and although they don’t refund when a flight is canceled due to war, they agreed to reschedule the date.

The space is nice, though the rooms aren’t very spacious if you have a lot of luggage. The staff are friendly and helpful, and breakfast is decent. The location is convenient, though the price is a bit higher compared to other options in Kathmandu. Overall, it’s a very good stay with helpful staff and a great location.

The staff were absolutely amazing! Gave great recommendations for dinner and made me a packed breakfast when I needed to leave early!

I had the best time at Ananta house Kathmandu and I really felt at home that I booked again after my trekking . Great staff and amazing break fast …. Ah and the location is perfect near everything and massage and sauna just in front . Came to stay there once in Kathmandu .. thank u again

Wir waren von dieser Unterkunft absolut begeistert! Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir so herzlich empfangen, und während des gesamten Aufenthalts war das ganze Team unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Besonders in einer stressigen Situation, als unser Flug storniert wurde, hat uns das Personal grossartig unterstützt und sogar versucht, die Airline telefonisch für uns zu erreichen. Diese Herzlichkeit und dieser Einsatz haben uns wirklich sehr berührt.

Das Frühstück war jeden Morgen frisch zubereitet und einfach richtig lecker — man hat gemerkt, dass viel Mühe und Liebe dahintersteckt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, die Grösse völlig ausreichend und das Bett herrlich bequem. Auch die zentrale Lage war perfekt und hat unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht.

Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Fantastic location and amazing staff that were so helpful. The rooms have everything you need and make for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast is also really great and generous portions!! Lots of options. We loved it so much we booked a number of times to come back after treks and excursions. they also stored our bags for us which was so helpful. Thank you 🙏🏽

A wonderful gem of a hotel, the best so far on my travels since December.

- Really comfortable bed, pillows, duvets
- Excellent shower with a screen, bathroom doesn’t get flooded. Piping hot water all of the time
- Delicious freshly made breakfast ordered from a menu
- The three outstanding staff members at reception, the wonderful lady and the 2 lovely gentlemen are always on hand to help
- Excellent location, off the main busy areas of Thamel
