Shower door swing into small toilet area was hard to get around; small nitpick for otherwise very well renovated building
Very cute, clean and full of character
Not easily accessible with no elevator, and several stairs
I liked the little apartment. It was cute and had plenty of space and the bed was comfy.
My boyfriend and me had to meet there and we could not both park there.
Alojamiento bastante cómodo.
I stayed in 004 which is the basement - at first I was unsure of staying in the basement but once settled in it felt very safe and cozy. The staff is super friendly and responsive! My only suggestion is to have the basement back door adjusted so it doesn’t slam…that was a bit loud and my dog did not like it lol
The decorations and the general coziness of the whole place.
It was perfectly acceptable for the price paid, considering the cost of staying elsewhere in Asheville. We asked for a twin room, which we got, but it was very small room, with two single beds and no floorspace for large suitcases. Otherwise, it was quiet, had a decent sized car park and checking in and out was very efficiently carried out by email and/or phone messaging. It was also the only place in 26 nights that had a kettle, so we could make tea.
It would have been good to have a little more space, so we didn't have to lift our suitcases onto the bed to open them. The bathroom could do with a few hooks to hang towels within reach of the shower - the only place to put them was on the loo. There was a kettle, which was appreciated, you know how we British like proper tea in the mornings. However the only place to plug it in was in the bathroom, with the kettle sitting on the windowsill. This meant there was nowhere for even one washbag, let alone two. A couple of shelves would have been nice.
The solitude and surrounding neighborhood.
Not convenient for someone without a car.
This property was located about a 10-minute walk from downtown Asheville, which made it really easy to explore the area without having to drive. There were a few restaurants even closer, and all of them were enjoyable. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the size of the bedroom.
Our room faced a very busy highway, and traffic noise could be very clearly heard at all times of the day. The air conditioning unit kept the room comfortable, but it was extremely noisy as well. I suspect management knows about the noise issue as there were ear plugs and a sound machine. The coffee that was made available was 'brewed' using a similar method as tea. It was not good, so we ended up always going out for coffee. The streaming television did not have a good connection (a lot of lag when trying to use it), and the living room set up was awkward -- it is a cramped space with the television too close to the couch.
One of the best places, my wife and I have ever stayed at place was very clean and comfortable felt like home. The only thing I’d recommend is having hooks on the walls for bath towels.
Clean and cozy
