Pros:

The room was so well equipped. Beautiful full kitchen in this suite with high end coffee maker that made me feel like I was at home. Even though it was a studio, everything felt ample and spacious and thoughtfully designed.

Cons:

Nothing, it’s gorgeous in every way.

Best hotel in Detroit yet (but the darn bed.............. Creak CReak CREAK!!!)
Pros:

I've stayed at the Whitney and I've stayed at the Shinola. The Book Tower (Roost) outpaced each of the others in design, atmosphere and amenities. ..but their darn bed is so creaky. Not just a little... A LOT! No se*y time for you at this hotel unless you bring an air mattress or hit the couch.

Great Hotel in a City on the Rise!
Pros:

What a find. We spent three nights at the Roost Detroit and from the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the elegance and comfort of this wonderful hotel. Welcoming staff, grand architecture, an exceptionally well equipped two bedroom suite, great onsite dining, nice amenities and perfect location made for a very nice visit. Looking forward to staying again next time we're in town.

Cons:

The weather could have been better but the accommodation made up for that.

Wonderful unique hotel a must stay!
Pros:

We stayed at the Roost after my husband's work Christmas party! The Roost is nestled the heart of Detroit in a beautifully restored building that has many amenities and many unique restaurants,
a wonderful, uniqueplace to get ready before our Christmas party and to stay afterwards. The valet and team at The Establishment was amazing and very friendly and helped us retrieve a needed item that I had left in our car. Every moment at The Roost was upscale, not stuffy and wonderful.

Detroit Thanksgiving
Pros:

Great location for walking to holiday events: Campus Martius, Thanksgiving parade as well as good restaurants. Hotel also has nice in-house amenities, and Kamper's rooftop lounge is excellent.

Amazing Experience
Pros:

What an amazing experience. From the choice of restaurants to the best sleeping experience I have had in a hotel. The service was impeccable, the building itself is gorgeous, so much history. I will 100% recommend this hotel.

Interesting and comfortable place to stay when in Detroit.
Pros:

Greeting and service upon arrival was excellent, décor and ambiance was relaxing though professional. Room was comfortable and accommodating. Professional space was spacious, the exercise area is well equipped and modern. Overall a very nice place to stay, excellent location providing access to pretty much the entire downtown area, events, offices, restaurants, and shopping. Overall a great stay, I love the location. Front desk staff was exemplary
