Definitely would return but not in room 4.
Pros:

Food, staff and service were excellent. Good atmosphere in the bar and restaurant.

Cons:

There was a noisy generator or boiler in the attic above room 4 that was far too loud. If our stay was longer I would have requested a move to a different room. The noise was 24 hours a day.

Clean and comfortable but disappointing food
Pros:

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Beautiful property and location

Cons:

We came here several years ago and it was amazing food but we found the Sunday lunch overpriced and disappointing. Cod was not cooked as advertised on the menu. All perfectly fine but not worth the money and very average. Weren’t given much information when we arrived about meal times and didn’t realise the bar would be closing so early. Also lots of things not available on the breakfast menu. None of it a big deal but a very different experience to our previous amazing stay.

Cosy Cotswolds Stay with Delicious Food and Friendly Service
Pros:

A lovely overnight stay in Room 4. We wanted a last-minute one night break in a Cotswold location, in a cosy double room with a big bath, as well as good pub food. Ticked all the boxes. Good gluten free food options in the restaurant. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent - only one small complaint; no gluten free bread, but our stay was a late booking. The manager was very helpful and friendly. Everything was great, we will stay here again :)

Cons:

The property has its own small car park, the preferred parking is actually the village car park, located behind the pub’s beer garden. It wasn’t a problem for us, but it’s worth noting if you were expecting parking right at the door.
