I was expecting more....
Pros:

Really nice location, nice staff and great views

Cons:

Our room was extremely noisy and the room shook every time a door closed downstairs. The room facilities weren't great and quite rough around the edges. Seemed a strange contradiction, expensive complimentary toileteries but an old TV, broken latch on the bathroom door, light bulbs not working are simple things that go unchecked. We didn't report them as didn't want the hassle

Beautiful property but needs a good clean. Staff were friendly and helpful
Pros:

Lovely rustic pub with good dining facilities inside and out. Beautiful rural area

Cons:

The room whilst rustic and in keeping with the charm of the age of the property our room was dusty, cobwebs and the bathroom needed a good clean.

Nice British pub hotel with good bar and restaurant.
Pros:

Typical British with low ceilings and beams, yet wel equiped rooms. Very helpful local staff and a nice bar for a pint.

Cons:

Not much, mind your head if you're tall like me.

Couldn’t wait to leave
Pros:

Building has character. Nice deep bath with hot water. Bed comfortable. Pretty location.

Cons:

Lacks cleanliness and attention to detail. No hand towels in room so I asked for some and was told that they didn’t have any so gave me two more bath sheets. No toilet roll holder. Cutlery and a cup dirty. Given a mini jar of marmalade and jam at breakfast which had been opened and used by someone else. These were then changed. Thick dust in room. Hairdryer filter dirty so didn’t even bother washing my hair. Out of date biscuits in room. I normally wouldn’t give such a negative response but there were too many issues (which I did mention to members of staff) Room 5 was the noisiest room I have ever stayed in. Located just past the gents public toilets. Proof in photos.

would have appreciated being told that no facilities available on Sunday evening
Pros:

Room was nice as were staff. Breakfast was nice

Cons:

Arrived back on Sunday at 825pm and the bar and whole establishment was deserted and closed with all lights off and no staff. Not what I expect for accommodation rate of £165 per night

Pros:

The staff, especially Libby. She is a diamond and was a lovely person. The shower gel Verdon was amazing

Cons:

The lighting in the room, very dark. Light out in bathroom. Room not made on 2nd day. Had to request in the evening for fresh towels. Replenishing of tea coffee etc.
