Be prepared to cough up twenty dollars for 'parking' when checking in.
Pros:

We liked the location right on the boardwalk.

Cons:

What we didn't like was after paying online for our booking, we were told we had to pay twenty dollars for parking. And then we discovered the toilet wouldn't flush. The flush handle would just push down with no effect.
We have found in our travels, that almost every hotel has a small fridge, perhaps a microwave, at the very least, a box of tissues. But not here!!
The hallway area outside our room was constantly filled with running, screaming children until around just after midnight.
We stayed here a year ago and it was okay but this will be the last time.

Pros:

I have always loved this place, older and maybe a little on the run down side but the new management are making big steps to fix and improve on everything. Staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful.
If you want high class then go get high class, if you want room for everyone with a terrific ocean view, with all the comforts of home... this is my pick every time!

Good location, but definitely needs some work.

Cons:

The whole hotel didn’t have warm/hot water so showering in ice cold water was not pleasant. The hotel was just not worth the price paid.

For the price I expected way better I won’t be back.
Pros:

The only good thing is that is close to the board walk.

Cons:

Dirty when we arrived.
Almost all of the switches didn’t have cover plates
Electrical wires showing.
Chipped paint on window trim.
Our keys wouldn’t work.
No shower curtain had to ask the main desk for one.

Pros:

The stay was mediocre overall, but things got much worse when my in-laws discovered bed bugs in their bed in the morning after being bitten. Because of this, we had to throw away several of our belongings to avoid bringing the infestation home. I was traveling with my toddler, and my in-laws live with a pregnant woman, so this situation was especially concerning.

I tried contacting the hotel by phone and through the booking platform but never received a response. I even reached out through my credit card company, and instead of addressing the issue, the hotel simply replied “services rendered” and took no responsibility.

Warning: Do not stay here unless you want to risk bringing home bed bugs—and don’t expect any accountability or even an apology from management.

Needed a place to sleep to go to Oceans Calling and wanted to be close to the inlet.
Pros:

Location is fantastic
Love being able to sit on the porch on the boardwalk

Cons:

Almost no water pressure in our shower
Water was hot or cold, very little in between
Blinds in bathroom were broken- we used a towel to shield people from seeing inside
Property is run down inside and dated, doesn't "feel" clean even though it appeared to be
