Wonderful stay at King David hotel Jerusalem
Pros:

One of the best hotels I have ever been to. Amexing and attend service. Well kept and classic room. Of course the best view ever. Once staying font miss Haim's guided tour.

Pros:

The location is wonderful, the building is beautiful, the lobby has a great atmosphere, the scent is pleasant, and the furniture is comfortable.

Cons:

The staff was mostly pleasant, but nothing extraordinary. The waiters were pushy and overly eager at the Grill Room Restaurant, trying to push us to order more and even openly asking for a tip.

האוכל היה מעולה, העובדים מסבירי פנים, החדר מרווח ומצויד בכל מה שצריך (ומעבר) והאווירה מצויינת.

Cons:

החדר היה קצת מאובק, לא משהו קריטי אבל ביחס למחיר של החדר ולרמת המלון ציפיתי ליותר.

Excellent and unparalleled service.
Pros:

I have been a customer of the King David hotel for many years now. While I have also been to other hotels such as the Waldorf and the David Citadel, the service at the King David is unparalleled. From the reservations manager Meirav - who has been exceptionally helpful to my family for many years - to the good and beverage staff, to the waiter staff, the front desk staff, and the bar staff, the service is simply excellent. Yet there is a standout even so. The concierge Jeremy Weiss adds a personal touch and treats you like family. I really cannot say enough about Jeremy and the entire staff.

NOT a luxury hotel
Pros:

Upon arrival - no one was at door to take our luggage, no one was at front desk to check in

We carried our own luggage in

In room - $2000 per night suite - carpet extremely stained and the room was very dated
2 times, it took more than 2 hours and several phone calls to get ice

Pillows were extremely hard but they did bring softer pillows on request

Bathroom is extremely dated and tub/shower combination leaks out onto floor. One day we came back from sightseeing and all drain plugs in sinks and tubs had been removed and were laying on the counter

Breakfast was very nice but in three days they never came back to check to see if we’d like more coffee or juice

furniture in public areas needs some repair- many chips, dents etc

Left our service light for turn down turned on at 5pm, two hours later service not performed

public areas are lovely and grand but the hotel is in drastic need of renovations
