Timber Ridge Lodge - Walking Distance from Downtown Gatlinburg

This is the worst place i ever stay bet wasnt clean when i arive they didnt have people in the front desk for help …. Plus it says u get housekeeping daily wich i didn’t get just the worst experience ever i don’t recommend

The property did not match the pictures shown when booking. The front desk person led me to the room with a bottle of air freshener in hand. As we were heading to the room, we had to pass other guests that were very unsavory and had trash all around their door. The door to the room we were supposed to stay in didn't shut well; the light switches didn't work on the lights. The bathroom was extremely dirty. We decided that we could not stay, and they would not offer a refund.

We checked in but checked right back out we got into the room and they gave us another room the 1st one had shower handle missing leaking water the room was not that clean stains on comforter. The second room was not that clean old and smelled of mold. This place is just awful the manager told the front desk they would give out money back and they lied to us we waited on them to respond for 20 mins. Do not stay at this place.

The stay was ok definitely wouldn’t recommend it unless it was the only place that had openings. The room wasn’t the cleanest. Others didn’t have any respect of their neighbors with being loud till 2 o’clock in the morning. It wasn’t the greatest cause there was no communication with how to check out. You had to call someone which wasn’t always the nicest. I definitely wouldn’t be coming back to this place anytime soon. I do recommend that maybe there be a receptionist at the place just in case people need them.

The beds were comfortable and clean but appliances such as the coffee maker and soap dispensers in the shower did not work. Considering the price and location to downtown, it was worth it.

Bed bugs and no employees ever at the desk it was terrible

Very nice stay for the price. Newly renovated, simple and clean.

Safety was poor. It was not safe at all to be there. I would never recommend nobody to be there. There was roaches bedbugs, and a whole bunch of stuff pipe don’t work. I would never recommend this to nobody.

It was convenient to the city, great to watch parade from. No pool and no breakfast.

Easy to get to downtown, but noisy room, can hear people running above, other rooms tv remote controlled our rooms tv, and hot room

The property needs major upgrading. Start with replacing the carpet. It made everything else look and feel dirty.

Over charged me; gave me a flooded room; are currently attempting to not refund me for the room I couldn’t even stay in. Do not choose this hotel.

Comfortable bed, clean room, easy parking. Ice machine was broken.

Very bad communication.. was ran by one person who stayed til 10:30pm. Didn’t come in until 11am. No ice machine no soda machine that worked. Had to go across the way at another hotel just to get a drink. Will not be going back to that hotel. Oh and no maid service for 3 nights.

Property is located close to downtown Gatlinburg, so very central location. Rooms are a bit dated and there was blood on one of the sheets. Reception isn't manned very often and the phone number that is listed didn't really want to talk.

Cheap. Ice maker broken. Clean room, comfortable bed. 8 night stay no room cleaning or towels changes.

Place was outdated. Towels smalt like motor oil, i bought a towel from Wal-Mart. Ok for myself. Close walk to dow town a big plus

Nothing too fancy, but its well kept and clean and great if your looking for a low budget stay.

Avoid. This is NOT a 3 star hotel. It is a beat down motor lodge with nasty stained carpet, stained bedding, dead bugs, and a musty smell. Door had gaps in weatherstripping so anything crawling around outside comes in. Sent photos of the disgusting carpet and bedding to hotels dot com, but fighting with property over refund. Hotel offered a different but equally disgusting room. Hotels dot com so far is only offering a quarter of what I paid as one key cash. I didn't stay in the room and ended up with a 3+ hour drive back home in the dark and rain. Trip was ruined.
