Hotel Memoir Kazbegi

Very nice family owned hotel with tasty food and very friendly hosts

We had booked the suite which came with its own little kitchenette.

The room was spacious for three of us and the balcony was spectacular! Seeing the trinity church and snow capped mountains was the icing on the cake.

The bf spread is decent and they even made a vegetarian pizza for us in the morning since we had asked for some veg items in the buffet spread.

Their terrace offers amazing views as well so don’t forget to stop by.

The only drawback was its bathroom and which felt a little dated.

Other than that, I highly recommend !

Average but probably good for the area.

Good cost-benefit for those who want a comfortable and modern place to stay. Staff is really nice. The lady who was there when I arrived was really sweet and helpful. The room was comfy, though some details could be fixed like some stains on the curtain and one of the towels towel as well as some small cleaning details. None of these bothered me so still very good stay.

Breakfast is very good, people staying on other places go there for breakfast as well. Portion of the food for lunch and dinner can be quite small.

Just a quick recommendation for the hotel. They should turn off or dim the light on the roof (5th floor) so people can see the starts. This is a really cool spot but the light messes it up at night.

Spent a weekend at Memoir and it was truly one of the most memorable stays I’ve had. The room was bright, clean, and super comfortable not to talk about that view of the Kazbegi mountains🧘‍♀️Absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to that felt like a dream. I honestly didn’t want to leave.

What really made the stay stand out was the staff. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home: warm, attentive, and full of great local tips that helped us make the most of our time in Kazbegi. You can really feel the heart in the hospitality.

And the restaurant deserves a mention of its own - everything we ordered was on top. You can tell a lot of care goes into the menu.

If anyone’s thinking of visiting Kazbegi, I can’t recommend Memoir enough!!!

Very nice hotel with the magnificent view of Kazbek mountain. The personnel is very friendly, and breakfast is of high variety and quality dishes. We stayed with friends in this hotel in early September 2024, and were happy there. We certainly recommend this hotel if you plan on visiting the area.

Good location, good ambience.
Our 2 nights stay was good except a barking dog in the back of hotel who sometimes disturbed our sleep in the night.

The lobby area is quite hip and cost, reception very friendly and helpful. The rooms though are rather basic in all aspects: furniture, sanitary, safe, closets. Bed and pillows are too hard to be comfortable (but that’s maybe a matter of preference). We asked for and got another room as our first room was at the end of the hotel with next door construction work going on, appreciated. Still, though this is a new hotel, it’s already showing visible signs of deterioration, with closets that do no longer close, a safe that wasn’t working, lifts that were out of order, airco down (which seems to be a regular issue reading other reviews), visible humidity in ceiling corner, mold on the curtains (which we only noticed when leaving). Still, we had a pleasant time at the hotel, which has a good vibe in the common area. Positives are the stunning view from the room, the friendly bar tender, the good breakfast, free parking next to the hotel.

Excellent location. Remember to ask for rooms facing the Kazbegi mountain. If you don’t get those then rooms in the. 3 series. It’s got a lovely deck, lounge and terrace all with stunning views. The service is warm quick and flexible. They are out to please. The menu is good but limited and the scrambled eggs at breakfast are served cold. The rooms are small yet neat and modern. The hotel has a good family vibe. If I went back that’s where I would stay !

This stay was absolutely incredible.
1. Staff : Amazing staff. So good that I remember their names as well. Meriami was amazing. She did a 24 hours shift in front of us and never hesitated to climb up or down a few flight of stairs for smallest of issues. She even helped cooking baby food for us. She was incredible. Avto (I hope I have spelt it correctly) was amazing. He is the bar manager but he was managing the kitchen as well absolutely flawlessly. Georgi (I hope I got the name right) helped us with the bags a few times and was very helpful and always smiling. Warmest staff on our entire holiday.
2. Food : Superb food. Mushroom soup was soul warming. Roasted potatoes were crispy and the dip was outstanding. Chicken wings could have been more moist. Pizza was decent.
3. Location : Views from the rooms are to die for. We got a mountain view room that gave us an amazing view of the Kazbek range and Gergeti church. The location is not too remote. A few restaurants and stores are within walking distance.
4. Rooms : Clean rooms, well maintained temperature, spotless linen. They gave us a complimentary baby cot and it was the cleanest and cutest baby got I've ever seen at a hotel.

All in all, its a no brainer to book them. You guys are the best. Wish you the best like you deserve.

We had booked 2 rooms for a night. Reached The hotel after a breathtaking Lee beautiful drive through snow-covered mountains hotel is comfortable. Enough bathrooms are modern and good beautiful views from the windows of the snow covered Caucasus Mountains. Breakfast is average. Dinner at the restaurant was average hotel is adequate enough serves the purpose. Sadly, the lift works only after the first floor. Turnover of guests is very high and they are all very busy but they do their best

Staff: Most friendly and helpful. My friend and I were pleasantly surprised by their hospitality.
View: Impressive.
Room: clean and very comfortable
Location: We came by car and the hotel has its own parking. It took us 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to the centre. for us it was the best location.

Great location to see Gergeti Church. 360 degree view from the rooftop terrace. Superb breakfast, high quality ingredients and most important so delicious. Room is spacious with mountain view. Sparkling clean! 5 stars services at reasonable price.

I would like to thank all the staff and manager of the hotel for taking care of us during our stay, we supposed to stay 2 nights but we have to extend due to the heavy snowfall and couldn't have been lucky and thankful that we were here!
First the rooms are spacious, clean and good, with nice Mountain View, the hotel is beautiful and have elevators and everything is new in the hotel which is good, the beddings are really comfortable and warm, the service and hotel staff are all nice, they tried all their best to help us in any way, we even had an upgrade to a family room which is so big and with kitchen! That helps a lot during our extended stay where we wanted to cook for ourselves. All in all it's an amazing experience we love this hotel!
Its about 10 mins to the center where you can find groceries and other restaurants, the hotel restaurant is good and breakfast is good, maybe i think they just need to add more food in the menu especially for long staying guest.

Very new hotel...I had a nice room with perfect view of kazbegi mountain. Nice choice of food for breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff, especially when I tried to book an out of the way restaurant. Good value compared to higher rated hotels on here

We really enjoyed our stay at this new hotel. We had a nice room with a beautiful view to the church and mountains. The shared upstairs lounge and balcony are amazing. The staff is responsive and friendly. The room was immaculate and the wifi was very good. There were a few things we wish were done differently but it would not keep us from coming back again.

We planned our annual family summer holiday in Kazbegi, a 3-hour drive from Tbilisi..
The Hotel Memoir is a relatively new property, the uninterrupted mountain views are absolutely gorgeous, the staff is very helpful, and always with a smile, breakfast was superb - fresh fruits and continental breakfast, alongwith Georgian local specialities.
In the evenings, we enjoyed drinks and hookah on the terrace, while our children bonded over the pool table and Monopoly and card games ....
Kazbegi day tours were fantastic - we went horse-riding, Ziplining and simply enjoyed stunning beauty of nature...

The views from the hotel are stunning, very comfortable rooms, especially for families. There’s a nice terrace with a pool table and lounge area. The restaurant serves some nice pasta and pizza if you want a change from the usual Georgian cuisine. We loved it!

Last time I visited this hotel as a family or as a group. My trip to Kazbegi was really amazing and I am very happy to be treated after spending time in this hotel. The most beautiful environment and views presented here will really amaze you, a very comfortable and relaxing place. To unwind. Taste the delicious dishes and enjoy your time there. I highly recommend this amazing place.
