Pros:

The beach was literally steps away once you walk outside of the hotel & it wasn't far away from the Boardwalk & other activities in the area

The view

Cons:

No TV in the bedroom, the windows were so dirty you couldn’t really see out of them, even with air set low it was hot and uncomfortable in the room. And the room had strong mold smell.

Great location but the facility needs some upgrades and more focus on getting the rooms cleaned.

The location was great! Close proximity to restaurants activities and the beach is in the backyard.

Cons:

The facility is dingy and wasn’t that clean. My tub looked like it didn’t get cleaned, the porch was definitely not clean. Bird poop everywhere. An old bag of taco meat was left outside. The floors were un even and the appliances need a real upgrade. The staff was constantly MIA. We checked out around 8am no one is on until 9. I left a message for check out and around 1 no one had called me back so I called them three times before someone answered the phone. It was Fourth of July weekend so I asked for recommendations for fireworks and the girl at the desk gave a suggestion but wasn’t sure if it was definitely happening, which to me you should know where local fireworks are. The rating and other comments really did not match my experience.

Staff was excellent and professional, building needs to be renovated

Cons:

Only 1 elevator very slow, description says “1 twin bed” but it’s actually a bunk bed in a very small closet type of room. Fridge is smack right next to the door so everytime you open the fridge you hit the door.

Wonderful, fabulous! Great view! Perfect for my elderly mom!
Pros:

Looking at the beach from the balcony, location of the sun in the afternoons (shady balcony), being able to rent the chairs and umbrella, the good fresh seafood, and especially the friendly staff! Super nice crew! We felt so welcome here!

Perfect last minute reservation that turned our weekend disaster better!
Pros:

Great location…pleasant staff…clean room, did not see one bug! Room was full of towels and toiletries only thing I had an issue with was the room did not stay cool due to the big windows in the bedroom and living room..I recommend keeping all curtains closed to keep out some of the heat and maybe keep that room door closed, so it doesn’t affect the other living spaces. Room did have a floor fan that helped keep us comfortable while we slept! I will return to Willow Bay in the future!
