I stayed at Hotel Kunja for 5 nights. The rooftop terrace for breakfast was always great! I enjoyed each morning looking over the bustle of the main road and beautiful Lake Phewa in the distance. If you like the hustle and bustle, then this is the place for you. I liked the breakfast staff who were always pleasant and attentive. The front desk staff were also helpful. I didn’t feel well for a few days and the staff were thoughtful and considerate. Thanks
Most Good & few bad.
The staffs have really good service.
Humble staffs too.
Clean and Good rooms.
Parking & lift included.
Restaurants view great.
Breakfast simple and ok.
I didnt like road side rooms due to noise at night.
2am, 3am & even at 4am.
Very nice and clean hotel overlooking the lake and the staff is good.
There are many restaurants and cafes near the main street and also near the lake.
There is a restaurant and cafe on the roof of the hotel overlooking the mountain and the lake.
Really enjoyed our stay and felt really looked after. Second visit. Great location and view over Disneyland and lake. Excellent wifi, good breakfast and great people
Really recommend Kunja. We came back. Great view and location near the lake shore just overlooking Disneyland. Some traffic noise but did not worry us. Convenience of location outweighed this. Great wifi, good breakfast and excellent service
Lovely staffs and the owner Pradeep welcomes my team of 18 people from UK. Hotel really cleaning and quiet zone. Also closest to Lakeside and local shops. Awesome atmosphere. Rooms are cleaned and well serviced.
we stayed in hotel for 2nights the service we got from there was amazing that gaves us homely environment and hotel is also located in very excat place we could see the lake and enjoy the hills view from rooftop me nd my family really enjoyed our stay
Attitude of the staff , cleanliness of the room, convenience of the customer kept in mind in every detail, like wifi modem for each room , parking space & central location made me to extend my stay few more days.
This was an excellent stay in Pokhara! The bed and pillows were super comfortable and clean. They had in room snacks that were reasonably priced. Tea kettle worked great and they have a super coffee shop downstairs. Hot water was prompt- bonus. I guess that makes them pretty eco friendly compared to other places where it had to run for 10 minutes before a warm shower was possible. All staff members were helpful, kind and made me feel valued as a guest. The price was good, the free breakfast was comparable to the price of the room and you could order other items if you wanted as they have a fully staffed kitchen. The location and view are excellent.
Had a wonderful time staying here. The staff were friendly and very hospitable.
It was only a short walk to the centre of lakeside. The rooms were very comfortable and the bathroom very clean.
Would love to stay here again.
Highly recommend the placeStaff were welcoming and caring. View from the roof top of hotel was fabulous..Breakfast was also great.Had the great experience .The room was clean and comfortable.had the memorable experience..highly recommendable
The hotel provides excellent lake view. Rooms are bit small, but the views makeup for all shortcoming. Breakfast provided is also tasty. The staff and manager is very helpful. The location is bit far on lake road, however all type of amenities and shops are available around. Recommended for a peaceful stay.
This hotel has a nice view of the lake from the balcony. It is located pretty far north on the lake shore away from the bulk of the restaurants but it's a nice walk to get to the busy end of the lake. The room is comfortable. They use mothballs for pest control so beware if you don't like the smell of mothballs. When we were there, there were very few other guests. We were always the only table at breakfast and there was never anyone in the rooftop restaurant.
The view from the hotel rooms on the 3rd 4th floor are really nice. with the Phewa lake just in front and the hills at the back make it quite pleasant to look at. the roof top has a nice seating arrangement for having a cup of tea and snacks. in the morning you can see paragliders in the sky and in the evening you can enjoy the sunset from the rooftop. it has a lift so there's no trouble going up and down. however the rooms are small but organized. also there is a very weird thing in the rooms. the bathroom has a big glass window facing the room. it has a curtain inside the bathroom but if you open the curtain the whole bathroom can be seen from the room. i have never seen anything quite like this. they could've used frosted or tinted glass instead of clear glass. just didn't get why someone would come up with this weird idea. also the intercoms in the rooms didn't work. hot water took a lot of time to come out in my room but it came out just fine on the next room (we also booked that one). the hotel staff are great. the guys at the reception are super friendly. also they can arrange paragliding for you and it's quite cheap. they arrange other activities too which you can get more information at the hotel reception. i enjoyed my stay but i expected bigger rooms for the price.
** Keep in mind that all the stores and restaurants in the area close at 10 pm. so make sure you go shopping early and have dinner before that time.
It was a great stay at pancharatna. Nice view from all rooms. I and my family we enjoy our holiday. They arrange all our holiday trip. Rooms clean and free parking with good wifi. We definitely come again here...
I am so happy with this hotel. We booked it on a whim about 1 hour before we arrived. It's clean, very comfortable, and we have an awesome balcony overlooking the street and lake! Definitely worth booking. Would happily stay again and agan.
We booked on for 5 nights and stayed for 7. These are very comfortable beds!
Buffet breakfast when they are busy and made to order when they are not, the food is very good here as is the view from the rooftop restaurant.
The hot water is solar powered and is at its hottest by late afternoon. The bathrooms are modern and the towels are nice and clean.
Our lake view room had a lovely balcony and this end of town is relatively quiet at night so this was a nice space to relax.
They are happy to look after extra luggage while you trek and the hotel manager is a very nice man who speaks excellent English.
In new year eve 2016 I stayed 1 night in this hotel room was nice and clean. nice view from rooftop and also inside the room but one thing I didn't get hot shower in the morning when I was taking bath
Its relatively a new property in pokhara facing lake with lift, you can get nice lake view from 3rd floor and above from rooms facing lakeside, rooms are just ok in size but corner room on each floor is spacious. They provide all sort of food, american and english b'fast as well, food is worth a try and there are many good options available nearby.
This hotel is clean and the rooms are nice/bed is large and pretty comfortable- especially by Nepal standards. The location is great- easy walking to shopping and restaurant areas. There is a beautiful lake view, though no mountain view from the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful- though their English is very limited so it can be a bit difficult to make your requests understood if you do not speak Nepali. There was also some confusion as plans were made via Booking.com and in the process I was dealing with the manager...but on arrival those plans were unknown to the hotel staff working the desk. We were told there was abundant hot water- but on the first evening there was no hot water for a shower. On telling them the next morning, they did something and informed us that the water situation had been fixed- and it was. We had lots of very hot water the 2nd and 3rd day. They arranged a trip to Sarangkot (taxi) for us- and though they did call to inform us that the taxi had arrived, they forgot to call with our wakeup call at 0450am so we only had 2 minutes to get ready and leave the room. The breakfast is simple but good (I suggest the masala omelet) and included in the room price. There was also a problem at checkout, as their credit card system was down and they do not have any other way to allow customers to pay via credit card (ie: online. The card you enter on booking.com is only for reservation- they cannot use it to charge your room). It took more than 2 hours to fix the system (good thing our flight was later in the afternoon)... and after the system was fixed it at first continued to decline my card. Then the man from the bank that came via motorbike realized that the system doesn't take master card (though there is a master card sticker on the machine). We finally were able to pay with visa. Overall it was a pleasant stay, though. Again, the rooms were clean and nice and the bed and showers nice for Nepal. There was also an in-room air conditioner and ceiling fan which was nice. The mothballs in the drains smell awful though (please remove those!). The staff is also pleasant and friendly. There were some glitches, but it was a reasonably priced hotel and I would stay there again when visiting Pokhara.
