The spacious and spotless room offers breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro from our balcony. The friendly staff and delicious food make this a must-visit destination. I’ll definitely be returning!
The location is a bit far from the downtown area, so I’ll need to take a tutu to get there.
What a beautiful place to stay! The entire property was stunning, the food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They truly made the experience feel so special. This was easily one of my favorite stays during my month-long adventure through Africa, and it’s a place I’ll remember for a long time!
Room and food
Breakfast no variety
Beautiful property very well maintained. The Farmhouse rooms are very big with amazing views also the staff is very attentive and they do what they can to make you feel special. Huge shout out to Benson he is so helpful and nice guy - you are the superstars! Thank you very much for everything. We really regret that we didn’t stay longer
The only downside of this place is food in restaurant but maybe we just didn’t have luck. Anyway I will still recommend this property and will stay there again!
Very nice hotel! Friendly staff, stylish rooms, delicious breakfast. The area is gorgeous!
The room is very big and we can see Kilimanjaro from our room! The property is like a big garden with lots of trees and flowers, and vegetables! Breakfast is also pretty good. Benson from front desk is also very helpful.
The shower water is not hot enough (could be cold in sometime), especially if taking shower in busy time.
There is no facial and hand towel in room, they only provide bath towel and bath robes but we really need a hand towel.
There is only one garbage 🗑️ in bath room so every time when I need throw something I have to go to bathroom.
Safe box is not working and they can’t fix it for us. Telephone in room is not working but it is not an issue for me after I got their what’s up number. Wifi is not working well because they have multiple networks and each requires different password.
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful farm! Everything was wonderful—from the stunning location and rooms with incredible views, to the delicious food and genuinely welcoming staff.
A very special thank you to Ismail, who was an exceptional host. He gave us a wonderful tour of the farm and shared his passion for every part of it, from the animals to the fruits and vegetables. His love and dedication truly made our stay even more special.
We highly recommend this place and would love to come back!
Everything was amazing!!
Nice view from the room. Excellent food (except the pizza, was rather ketchup on a soft bottom than a real pizza). Very friendly staff. Well maintained compound, but remote of Moshi.
Safe in both rooms not working. Would be repaired ‘tomorrow’, but even after our stay of 3 days not repaired. 😏
Some friendly staffs who are trying to be helpful (shout out to Kelvin who was a ray of sunshine to show us the farms
Very disappointing stay and nowhere near a five-star standard. The main issue is a complete lack of consistency and reliability in basic living services.
Ok starting with food - the SLOWEST serving experience we’ve ever had. We know everything is organic but still my 85 year old GRANDMA living alone picking things up from her garden and cooking a 5 dish dinner was twice as fast as what they were doing here! Dinner on our first night took around 1h15 for a very simple order: steak, fries and pepper sauce. The following night, the exact same dish still took around 45-50 minutes and arrived noticeably different: way smaller portion, chewier steak, different ingredients and lower overall quality even with the manger being there. Guess there was 30min of acceleration with him supervising but still this lack of consistency reflects the hotel as a whole.
TOTAL LACK OF HOT WATER — in a FIVE-star rated hotel! We were told to leave the shower running for 10–15 minutes before getting warm water, which is already unacceptable and rather contradictory for a hotel displaying signs asking guests to save water. Because the hot water repeatedly failed, we had to leave it running for long periods several times. At one point, the water supply stopped completely and we waited around three hours for it to return. On another occasion, we waited around an hour for hot water before finding out that the system had not even been switched on properly. The staffs tried to help but the efficiency was the worst we ever had. They offered the solution to put us in another room but it was very late at night after a LONG day hiking so it was not helpful. At the end after they fixed it the water was still lukewarm but definitely not hot.
Lastly the communication at reception was also difficult at the beginning.
The incredible views of Kilimanjaro, the quiet oasis and green of the hotel grounds, the friendly staff, great food, good service, willingness to help - all excellent.
Food service is slow but you get used to it and the food is fresh and delicious
We found this hotel completely by chance and absolutely loved it!!
The staff took care of every little detail, the food was delicious, and they even gave us a tour of the farm where all the food comes from, which we really enjoyed.
The atmosphere is amazing — such a beautiful, pleasant, peaceful, and clean place. Everything was simply perfect!
A special thank you to kelvin and Benson, who helped us and took care of everything we needed. They made us feel so welcome and comfortable, and were always happy to accommodate every request and wish we had.
We definitely hope to come back again soon!
Highly recommended — don’t think twice about booking!
We loved everything.
We love the staff who were friendly and kindly and specially Ismael that took us to the farm that they have in the place, and he show us the whole things that in the farm :) beautiful room with a view to the Mountain and all the place are so nice
OK so in the night there was a problem with the hot water. They really tried to do their best to solve it but things like this could happen . and they compensated us so it was okay.
Chambres spacieuses, confortables et luxueuses comme tout l’établissement. La ferme est un vrai plus ! Les repas sont extraordinaires. Merci pour la visite guidée de la ferme et du potager
Rien
What a beautiful place. My travel mate had a bit of a cold and the staff made her a very nice ginger lemon honey tea. Food is delicious, and much of it is made using the beautiful fresh produce from their on-site farm. We were getting a little chilly at dinner, and staff noticed and wrapped some warm blankets around us. These gestures were so kind. We also loved the tour of the farm - even the hotel owner proudly gave us a tour!
Nothing. Everything was perfect!
Superbe hôtel avec vue sur le kilimandjaro, les chambre sont confortable, je recommande vivement
The staff were excellent. They went out of their way to answer all of our questions. They prepared meals for us for when we went on a Kilimanjaro trek.
The baths on the balconies were a bit exposed. If there was a privacy screen on the side, it would definitely be something we would have made use of.
Nothing.
Unfortunately, this was my worst accommodation experience to date, and we ultimately did not stay at the property.
Several days before our arrival, I informed the property that our flight would arrive at approximately 11:00 p.m., and they confirmed that a driver would be available to pick us up. On the morning of our arrival, I sent a reminder but received no response until almost 9:00 p.m., when I was suddenly informed that our room was unavailable because the previous guest had reportedly been involved in an accident at the mountain and could not check out. We were told we would be placed in another hotel for the night and moved back the following morning.
This was extremely unprofessional. Check-in was from 2:00 p.m., so why was I only informed at almost 9:00 p.m., knowing I was arriving at 11:00 p.m.? The alternative hotel was not even named initially; I had to ask for the details, and after checking it, I clearly stated that I did not wish to stay there. Guests choose accommodation based on their own preferences, not simply price, and I should not have been expected to accept an entirely different property at the last minute.
Despite declining the alternative, there was still pressure through the driver for us to go there. We also overheard conversations suggesting that the property may have been overbooked, although I cannot independently confirm this.
We eventually had to find alternative accommodation ourselves late on a Friday night, when many suitable hotels were already fully booked. We also ended up paying US$80 in unnecessary transport costs after being driven toward the property and then having to return almost to the airport area to find somewhere else to stay. Given that this situation arose because the property could not honour our confirmed booking, the professional thing would have been for them to absorb this cost, but no such offer was made.
