Cons:

Я забронировала отель за несколько месяцев. Оплату списали. В итоге, когда я уже прилетела в Танзанию - получила письмо от букинг, что отель не может меня принять, моё бронирование аннулировали. На моё письмо, отель не ответил. И деньги за бронирование до сих пор не вернули.

A great farmhouse with amazing staff.
Pros:

This farmhouse is off the busy roads and provides such tranquility and calm. Ismael and the entire staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. The place is clean and well kept/managed.

There is potential.
Pros:

Vriendelijkheid personeel en de buitenomgeving. Het is een toffe plek met een gunfactor.

Cons:

Onze farmhouse kamer op de begane grond had helaas wel wat kuren. Onder andere de voordeur ging niet goed op slot en er was een overstroming onder de badkuip gedurende een regenachtige nacht.

Het hotelteam heeft ons bij alles altijd goed proberen te helpen. Een kamerwissel naar de bovenverdieping heeft veel opgelost, maar helaas hebben de badkamers slechte ventilatie met alle gevolgen van dien. Dit is bij uitchecken als directe feedback aan the staff gecommuniceerd.

The Best Between Arusha and Moshi!
Pros:

Absolutely perfect. The best stay in Moshi, by far. Amazing food, rooms, grounds, staff and owner. Quiet, clean air, like living in a garden. My highest review for hotel in Tanzania. Beyond expectations.

Cons:

That I had to leave for work each day. I wanted to spend all my time there. Seriously.

Pros:

Attractive property. Very polite and professional seeming staff. Very comfortable bed and nice bathroom.

Cons:

We could not figure out how to drain the bathtub…

WiFi occasionally cut out and password wouldn’t always work.

Payment was a bit confused - told to pay later, for instance, then when the time came different machines had to be fetched and people woken up…

Restaurant food passable but not good, not always resembling menu description either.

We had a wonderful stay at Shose Farmhouse Chalets and Campsite and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting Moshi.

Our room was very modern, tastefully designed, and well equipped. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. We enjoyed delicious meals in the restaurant located in the beautiful garden, both at breakfast and dinner. From the hotel, we had a great view of Kilimanjaro mountain.

We also liked the farm-to-table concept. They have their own farm directly on the premises. One of the staff members kindly gave us a very interesting tour of the farm. Asante sana to the whole team - we truly enjoyed our stay.

Pros:

The hotel was perfect from beginning to end. The welcome was superb. Ismael is a fantastic manager, a real gem, who shows you around the hotel-farm with great passion. The place is beautiful and peaceful, and the evenings around the wood fire are extraordinary. Thank you, Ismael, and all the staff!

Slightly disappointed
Pros:

The hotel offers you great mountain views. It has a big and beautiful garden. It is quite clean and the staff start to clean all the common areas early in the morning. They are mostly friendly and helpful. The receptionist helped us to book a day tour to Rau Forest late in the evening and it turned out to be great. Breakfast is decent.

Cons:

Considering the room price—almost 110 USD per night, I find our room somewhat basic. It’s not sound proof as the bed is close to a thin door. During our stay, we could hear traffic noise and background music most of the time. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and we found the food and the drinks not much tasty.
