Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Shose Farmhouse Chalets and Campsite and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting Moshi.

Our room was very modern, tastefully designed, and well equipped. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. We enjoyed delicious meals in the restaurant located in the beautiful garden, both at breakfast and dinner. From the hotel, we had a great view of Kilimanjaro mountain.

We also liked the farm-to-table concept. They have their own farm directly on the premises. One of the staff members kindly gave us a very interesting tour of the farm. Asante sana to the whole team - we truly enjoyed our stay.

Pros:

The hotel was perfect from beginning to end. The welcome was superb. Ismael is a fantastic manager, a real gem, who shows you around the hotel-farm with great passion. The place is beautiful and peaceful, and the evenings around the wood fire are extraordinary. Thank you, Ismael, and all the staff!

Slightly disappointed
Pros:

The hotel offers you great mountain views. It has a big and beautiful garden. It is quite clean and the staff start to clean all the common areas early in the morning. They are mostly friendly and helpful. The receptionist helped us to book a day tour to Rau Forest late in the evening and it turned out to be great. Breakfast is decent.

Cons:

Considering the room price—almost 110 USD per night, I find our room somewhat basic. It’s not sound proof as the bed is close to a thin door. During our stay, we could hear traffic noise and background music most of the time. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and we found the food and the drinks not much tasty.

It was a great area with a cute Restaurant and great staff. The food was local from the own farm and the staff was very friendly and helffull.

Cons:

Unfortunately we did not get the room booked. In Booking.com we booked a room with balcony and bathtub on it as well as view on the Kilimanjaro.
What we got was a huge new room with Terrasse. But it seemed like the room was not ready yet. It was huge but other than the bed there was no furniture. On the pictures there was supposed to be chairs, a sofa, safe, wardrobe as well as bathrobes. But we only had a bed and a table. No chairs nor anything to put or hang clothes.
We asked the staff to receive the room booked but the Main building was sold out so there was no chance to move.
The surroundings where beautiful and we had our own little terrace, so for 2 nights it was totally fine.
But all in all we were sad by not having the chance to enjoy the booked room category.

Sehr freundliches Personal, vor allem Benson war sehr hilfsbereit. Schöne Hotelanlage und sehr gutes Essen. Bett war hart und sehr bequem. Haben ohne weiteres meinen Koffer für meine Kilimanjao Rückkehr aufbehalten.

Pros:

Красивый отель, просторные номера, большая территория для прогулок и отдыха, есть площадка для детей, чистый большой бассейн, шикарный вид на Килиманджаро и, конечно, очень приветливый и внимательный персонал.
У меня поднялась температура 38.8, весь персонал очень переживал и заботился обо мне во время моего проживания. Ребята пытались решать все мои вопросы и помогали в каждой ситуации.
Кстати, очень вкусно готовили.
Я заселилась ночью, спала долго после перелета и не успела на завтрак, но меня накормили свежими фруктами и выпечкой около полудня!
Я осталась на 100% довольна проживанием в этом отеле!

Pros:

Good hotel by African standards. Great views of Kilimanjaro. Very nice and friendly staff.
Storage of our luggage during the Kilimanjaro hike was easy and free. We also got an extra room when we arrived early as our flight arrived in the early hours of the morning.

Cons:

Breakfast was of normal African standard but not up to Western standards. Only hot milk was offered with the cereal, no low fat options. The bread tasted bad and only jams and sweet peanut butter (African/Asian, terrible taste) were offered on top, no cheeses or cold cuts.
