Pros:

The hotel is in the center of Tromso. Everything is easy to reach by foot. The personnel were friendly. Breakfast was decent. We had an apartment and it was well equipped.

Cons:

The hotel is rather basic and functional. There was an unpleasant smell from the drain in our bathroom. You could hear the street very loudly during the night and the rooms were quite light, we used sleeping masks.

Pros:

Amazing location for exploring Tromsø with great accommodations. The waffles in the evening were superb and the breakfast was excellent! I’m so grateful we were able to stay here. And it is an excellent accommodation for an exceptional price!

Comfortable and clean.
Very nice breakfast!

Cons:

Sleeping room was very small. Small bed and still almost from wall to wall. No space to put glasses, phone, alarm clock or something like that.
Wifi was a disaster. But fortunately 5G works VERY well in Tromso.

Viihdyimme erinomaisesti.
Pros:

Tilava huoneisto, missä hyvän kokoinen keittiö. Hotellilta oli helppo liikkua niin kävellen, julkisilla tai omalla autolla lähelle tai kauemmaksi. Plussaa, että huoneiston majoitukseen kuului aamupala.

Pros:

In Tromsø, we’ve already stayed in dozens of hotels and apartments. I really have to praise the staff—they are genuinely kind, they check if everything is okay and communicate well. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety to choose from. We went both at 8:00 and after 9:00, and the food was always being replenished. The only thing missing for us was an espresso machine.

The apartment was also very well equipped. There was a hairdryer, washing machine, dishwasher, towels, soap, shower gel, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry detergent, and even tea and coffee.

The location was excellent as well. There is also parking available. I didn’t mind at all that the place was a bit older, since we mostly used the accommodation just for sleeping and spent our days outside. 😊

Cons:

Because I’m quite particular about cleanliness and we have small children, a downside for me was the dust on the shelves and under the bed. These areas should also be cleaned—especially since the beds are on legs and we moved them closer to the wall, so it was noticeable. There were also stains on the carpet, which would benefit from a deep clean.

It might be helpful to have a hand brush and dustpan, or possibly a mop, available in the apartment. The Wi-Fi connection was also dropping occasionally 😉
